‘RHONJ’ Star Teresa Giudice’s Marital Problems ON BLAST in Season 14!
Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas’ marital issues will land in the spotlight in Season 14 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey. The dramatic trailer for the upcoming season revealed several cast members accusing Luis of financially draining the reality star, whom he wed in a lavish televised wedding, in August 2022.
Danielle Cabral tells Melissa Gorga that Teresa had become unhappy at home, during the explosive sneak peek.
“Teresa is distraught because in the house there is not a lot of calm,” Danielle says as footage features tearful images of Melissa’s sister-in-law.
Dolores Catania seemingly backs Danielle’s assessment during a conversation with co-star, Jennifer Aydin, who agreed that “every time” she speaks to Teresa “her stomach is in knots.”
Dolores agrees — “She is not doing great.”
Margaret Josephs references Luis’ loose spending habits in an exchange with husband, Joe Benigno, claiming that his extravagant taste was to blame for the couple’s marital woes.
“Louie pissed her money away,” Margaret declares during the phone call with her husband.
John Fuda, husband of RHONJ sophomore, Rachel Fuda, brings up the touchy subject of the couple’s finances while out to dinner with Teresa and Luis.
John refers to Teresa as “the poster child for mortgage fraud,” yelling during his exit — “When I need my money laundered I’ll call you!”
Teresa and her then-husband, Joe Giudice, were convicted in 2014 on multiple charges of fraud. Teresa served 11 months behind bars and Joe was incarcerated for three years. Teresa was released in December 2015 and Joe was deported to Italy upon his release, in March 2019.
Teresa and Luis face off later in the preview, when Luis tells his wife that he is trying to improve their marriage.
“I want it to be better,” he starts before she interjects — “It’s not going to be better.”
Fans have noticed that things have cooled between the lovebirds in recent months, as Luis and Teresa have been spotted on more solo outings.
Teresa has worked to shut down the swirling rumors, recently posting a cozy couple pic with the caption — “my heart is all yours.”
The reality TV veteran spoke to the chatter on her “Namaste B$tches” podcast, ripping into fans for “making up stories” about her marriage.
“Louie and I are not getting divorced and I am allowed to go on a girls trip,” she said. “We are allowed to not be together 24/7.”
The mom of four did admit that filming the upcoming season had been “stressful,” but did not dish any additional details.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premieres on May 5 on Bravo.
