The Disturbing Detail Janelle Brown told Police About Garrison Brown’s Death
In a recent development regarding the tragic death of Garrison Brown, son of Sister Wives stars Kody and Janelle Brown — new information has emerged from a police report obtained by TMZ.
According to the report, Janelle Brown, 54, informed officers that her son Garrison, 25, sent a concerning text message to a group of individuals the Brown family works with, presumably linked to their TLC reality show. In the text, Garrison expressed a sense of longing for past times, stating, “I want to hate you for sharing the good times. But I can’t. I miss these days.”
Although Janelle wasn’t included in the text chain, she became aware of its content and reached out to Garrison herself. She informed authorities that their conversation lasted for a brief period until Garrison ceased responding. Additionally, Janelle disclosed that Garrison was estranged from his father, Kody Brown, 55.
As depicted on Sister Wives, Garrison and his brother Gabe, 22, relocated from their parents’ residence in Las Vegas to Flagstaff, Arizona, due to disagreements over Kody’s stringent COVID-19 protocols.
Alarmed by the situation, Janelle contacted her other children and requested that someone check on Garrison at his home in Flagstaff. Gabe volunteered for the task.
Police confirmed that they met Gabe at the scene, where Garrison was found deceased from an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
The police report further indicated that Garrison resided with three roommates, who reported hearing a noise on Monday night but didn’t investigate further, believing it wasn’t a gunshot. It wasn’t until Gabe’s arrival on Tuesday that Garrison was discovered, prompting him to call 911.
Roommates informed authorities that Garrison had previously struggled with alcohol. However, Gabe noted that his brother appeared to be doing well and had recently secured employment at a medical facility.
In the wake of the devastating news surrounding the untimely death of their son, Garrison Brown, Janelle and Kody took to Instagram to release a joint statement on Tuesday.
“Janelle and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him,” the statement read. Expressing the profound impact of their loss, they added, “Our loss will leave such a big hole in our lives, that it takes our breath away.”
As they navigate through this difficult time, the grieving parents requested privacy and urged others to join them in honoring Garrison’s memory.
The heartfelt statement provided a glimpse into the immense sorrow felt by Janelle and Kody as they come to terms with the loss of their beloved son.
