Jenelle Evans Filed Separation Papers from David Eason Citing Drug Addiction and His Refusal to Work!
Teen Mom alum Jenelle Evans has initiated a separation from her husband David Eason, citing his alleged “erratic” behavior, issues with “substance abuse,” and his “refusal” to seek employment.
According to The U.S. Sun, Jenelle Evans has finally had enough of her troubled husband David David amid regaining custody of her 14-year-old son, Jace Evans.
The 32-year-old, who has often been at the center of controversy, has legally filed for separation from David, as reported by the outlet on Monday.
This development occurred shortly after reports emerged that Jenelle had expelled David and his 16-year-old daughter Maryssa from the family home.
In her legal filings, Jenelle cited David’s ‘erratic behavior’ as a key reason for the separation, alongside allegations of his ‘substance abuse.’
She further accused him of refusing to seek employment to contribute to the family’s financial support.
Jenelle’s separation documents also mention an alleged incident where David is accused of assaulting her 14-year-old son, Jace. David faced charges of misdemeanor child abuse and felony strangulation following Jace’s report to doctors that he was abused by his stepfather after attempting to flee.
The alleged assault is said to have occurred at a friend’s house and was reportedly captured by a Ring doorbell camera.
Following the alleged abuse, a Child Protective Services (CPS) investigation was initiated against the couple, which Jenelle has stated was eventually closed.
The documents also reference a disturbing incident from 2019, when David killed the couple’s French Bulldog, Nugget. After Jenelle reported to the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office that her husband had shot the dog, she later claimed she did not witness the shooting or find any proof that the dog was dead. This led to the termination of the police investigation, until David later confessed to killing the dog, alleging it had bitten their two-year-old daughter, Ensley Jolie.
Beyond accusing David of refusing to seek employment, Jenelle claims he has been recklessly spending her money. She also alleges that he engaged in “criminal conversation” through text messages with his ex-wife.
