VP Kamala Harris SHUTS DOWN ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ Reunion

Vice President Kamala Harris is set to appear on Sherri Shepherd’s daytime talk show, Sherri, on Thursday, which is forcing Bravo to bump up the taping of the Real Housewives of Potomac reunion.

An insider told Page Six that both shows film in the same studio and Harris’ appearance has disrupted Bravo’s original production plan.

“Their schedule now has to be rearranged and pushed up to 4:30 in the morning. All of their food deliveries have to come before the street is totally blocked off by the Secret Service,” a source told the outlet.

Shepherd’s filming space, Chelsea Studios on W. 26th St in Manhattan, will be blocked from regular business for most of the day, per the report.

The street will reportedly be barricaded, and people who live or work in the area will have to pass through metal detectors in order to access the neighborhood.

“The whole block will be shut down, so there will be a lot of organized chaos because of Harris’ arrival, which could mean their breakfast and lunch could be cold,” the source explained.

RHOP Reunion

RHOP cast members will report to the reunion taping by 4 am and must remain on their studio floor during the entire period of time the politician is in the building.

The tipster pointed out — “A lot of time and scheduling goes into those reunion shows. So the set decorations, time cards, flights, guest arrivals… have all been turned upside down. Those ladies are not known for their punctuality. So if they want to avoid any issues they better be in that studio before [the] Secret Service pulls up.”

The Potomac cast was scheduled to film the reunion series at Chelsea Studios before Harris’ upcoming appearance on the chat show was announced. The RHOP reunion stage was previously used by talk show host, Rachael Ray.

Shepherd will kick off the episode alongside Harris at 1:30 pm with a studio audience in attendance. The vice president is scheduled to leave the building immediately after the taping, at 2:30 pm.

The street closures are expected to begin as early as 8 am, to prepare for Harris’ arrival.
