Former Wendy Williams Lawyer PROVES Court Appointed Guardian Caused Her DRASTIC Health Decline!

Wendy Williams’ former attorney, LaShawn Thomas, has suggested that the fallen chat show host’s health went downhill because she was forced into a guardianship.

Thomas posted a throwback video on Instagram on Saturday, revealing the former “Wendy Williams Show” host seemingly healthy while chatting about her workouts.

“You know, I do what I can,” the former daytime diva said in the clip recorded by her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., in which she flexed her muscles and  showed off her toned physique.

Thomas captioned the clip — “You can clearly see the difference between Wendy’s well-being during her time here in Florida with her son caring for her and her lack thereof in New York under this ‘guardianship.’” Press play below to watch.

The entertainment lawyer continued — “These Wendys are not the same. How did her health deteriorate so quickly, and why isn’t her only child allowed to be by her side. She wasn’t like that when he cared for [her].”

The attorney alleged that the video was captured two weeks before Wendy was ordered to move from Florida back to New York, to be placed under a guardianship, in May 2022.

Thomas raised an eyebrow at the once-popular host’s recent dementia and aphasia diagnoses, writing — “If Wendy’s diagnosis is true, now more than ever, her son should be allowed that same grace. He deserves it … and most importantly, Wendy deserves it.”

Wendy’s family members recently disclosed that they had been cut off from the TV personality amid her ongoing health and substance abuse issues.

“The people who love her cannot see her,” Wendy’s sister, Wanda Williams, told People last week. “How the hell did we get here?”

In 2022, Wells Fargo froze Wendy’s bank accounts and filed a petition for temporary guardianship, arguing that she was the “victim of undue influence and financial exploitation,” according to Thomas.

Lawyer, David H. Pikus, who repped the bank, wrote at the time — “We are concerned about [Wendy’s] situation.”

“It is our hope that the Guardianship Part [of the court] will imminently appoint a temporary guardian or evaluator to review the situation and ensure that [Wendy’s] affairs are being properly handled.”

Wendy has repeatedly voiced her objections to the guardianship.

Thomas told Page Six in August 2022 that Wells Fargo had supposedly left Wendy to “die” when they denied her access to her bank accounts. The attorney stood up for Hunter at the time, claiming that the now 23-year-old had tried to help his mother “both mentally and physically with the assistance of a team of doctors.”

The guardianship has since been sealed.

Wendy recently addressed her new diagnoses, asking fans and followers for “personal space” and “peace” as she navigated her ongoing health issues.

Wendy told Page Six, via a statement last week — “The messages shared with me have touched me, reminding me of the power of unity and the need for compassion.”

“I hope that others with [Frontotemporal Dementia] may benefit from my story. I want to also thank the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration for their kind words of support and their extraordinary efforts to raise awareness of FTD.”
