Zach and Tori Roloff QUIT ‘Little People Big World’ Amid Rift With Caryn Chandler

Zach and Tori Roloff are saying goodbye to Little People, Big World

Little People Big World stars Zach and Tori Roloff announced their departure from the series amid their rift with Caryn Chandler. The couple, whose lives have been closely followed by fans for years, shocked viewers with the decision to step away from the show, leaving many wondering about the circumstances behind their sudden exit.

Zach Roloff

Zach, who has appeared on the TLC series for nearly two decades, and his wife have announced that they will not be returning after wrapping the show’s 25th season.

“We are done. That part of our lives, that chapter has closed,” Tori declared in a new episode of the couple’s podcast, “Raising Heights.”

Zach added — “I think the chapter has closed regardless of us being asked back or not.”

The 33-year-old son of Matt and Amy Roloff explained — “This last cycle was rough between the family, the farm deal and we’re done with that. We’ve moved on.”

TLC began documenting the everyday lives of Matt, Amy, Zach and his three siblings, in 2006. The reality show focused on Matt, Amy and Zach’s experiences as they navigated a “big world” with dwarfism.

“Being on television is what I know…and all the experiences that come with that,” Zach said.

Zach explained that they didn’t want to put pressure on their three kids to live their lives in front of cameras, as the job had already been difficult. Tori added that the couple’s eldest child, Jackson, had expressed a desire to not participate, from time to time.

Zach and Tori clarified that their decision did not rest on their children.

Tori told her husband — “I do feel like it was also time for us to move on because I didn’t want, personally, to hate your family.”

Zach seemingly referenced the family conflict when he said — “I’ve been speaking the same tune for a long, long time and we needed an adult in the room in multiple scenarios throughout this whole journey that never came.”

Zach and Tori also spoke about the positive experiences they’ve had on the show as well as the people they’ve been able to meet along the way. The pair also acknowledged that reality TV fame had allowed certain privileges and fun travel experiences.

Tori began to hint that their time on the show was coming to an end, back in 2022.

“I think our time is definitely coming to a close but we’re trying to enjoy it while it’s here!” the mom of three commented during an Instagram Q&A session.

Tori noted at the time that their decision to leave would be because of “all the misconceptions people have of us and our family because they only get to see what TLC shows them.”

Zach told ET at the time — “We take that day by day or week by week or month by month, so we take that one step at a time… Every year, we kind of reevaluate where we’re at and if we have more positive things to share.”

He added — “Just about the time we say, ‘Ah, man, we can’t do this anymore. It’s too embarrassing, it’s too hard,’ then somebody comes up to us in public and says how touched they are and how their family is going through some of the stuff.”
