‘RHOBH’ RECAP: Kyle Richards Leaks Breakup Tea to Press and GASLIGHTS Her Family Amid Her Affair with Morgan

Welcome to the Season 13 finale of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The sun shines brightly as Kyle Richards meets up with her personal trainer and Erika Jayne to prepare for the All White Party. Kyle is happy to distract herself with party planning and mingles with the big names as we are introduced to Erika’s friend, Luciana.

At the party at Sofi Stadium, Erika is set to perform, seizing this opportunity to warm up before her Vegas residency. A flashback shows Kyle inviting Erika to perform as she lays out the details for her big day, utilizing the legendary Kevin Lee to plan her extravaganza and dropping Lisa Vanderpump’s name in the process.

Meanwhile, Sutton Stracke is shopping for jewelry with her daughter Porter and seems to be getting used to her newfound independence.

While admiring diamonds, Sutton admits she doesn’t want to embody the wealthy cliché to Porter. Instead, Sutton wants her children to witness her thriving and happiness, rather than seeing her trapped in the rabbit hole she climbed out of.

Reflecting on her journey with Porter, Sutton becomes emotional as she confesses to losing her independence. Sutton encourages Porter to remain independent, find love, and create the life she deserves. How heartwarming! 

Later, Kyle shows her daughters the extravagant four-hundred-thousand-dollar White Party in all its glory! Kyle is blown away by Kevin Lee’s work but cringes at the sight of her name spread out on the dance floor. Meanwhile, Annamarie Wiley gets ready while chatting with Marcellus Wiley, as Garcelle Beauvais shares shade about Denise Richards with Erika’s makeup artist. Erika rehearses at Sofi Stadium while Crystal Minkoff helps Rob Minkoff find his dry cleaning. Dorit Kemsley is on the couch, FaceTiming with PK, expressing her frustration about his travel schedule. Dorit explains her annoyance regarding PK’s delayed return, but PK seems disinterested, sipping his tea.

Dorit feels PK’s actions aren’t matching his words from therapy and tells him his poor planning is annoying. Feeling unheard, PK struggles to interject, but Dorit expresses her need for improvement. Before they can delve deeper, Dorit’s glam team arrives. At the party, Mauricio Umansky arrives, checking out the cheerleaders while asking around for Kyle. Kyle gets ready with her daughters backstage as Erika prepares to hit the stage! The guests start to arrive with their partners, and Kyle has truly outdone herself! Mauricio greets Crystal and Rob as Sutton arrives.

Impressed by the stadium, Sutton arrives, while Garcelle shows up ready to party. Garcelle notices Kyle’s contradictory behavior but gives her a pass due to the beautiful party. Kyle looks stunning as her daughters take pictures and the rest of the guests fill the stadium.

Annamarie and Marcellus make a grand entrance, resembling players at the Super Bowl, and the beautiful Cynthia Bailey also arrives. Guests mingle and spill drinks as Kyle makes her way to the main stage. The party looks amazing as guests take in Kyle’s grand entrance. Sutton notices Kyle walking in with her daughter but can’t help but notice Mauricio’s absence.

Producers grab Mauricio as he tries to make a plate, intending to meet his ladies at the end. Mauricio tries to grab Kyle’s hand, but when she moves away, he opts to twirl her instead. Kyle begins greeting her guests and runs into Jeff Lewis to address his podcast. Kyle wants Jeff to address the Ozempic rumors as the ladies kick off the party. Denise Richards arrives with her husband Aaron as, Marcellus compliments the party. Denise greets Dorit and Crystal and wonders where PK is. Dorit informs Denise that PK is traveling and opts not to correct Denise’s wardrobe this time.

Kyle reminisces about her past white parties as the ladies dance and compliment each other’s shoes. Sutton shows off her new sapphire earrings and updates Garcelle on her progress with Steve. Steve ended up ghosting Sutton for a few days, prompting her to move on in search of something better. Sutton is more confident in how she carries herself and is content focusing on her business. Kyle and Mauricio awkwardly discuss Kyle’s entrance, with Mauricio mistakenly thinking the party would be held in the parking lot. Kyle is annoyed that Mauricio isn’t listening, as Denise inquires about Erika’s song choice.

Backstage, Erika’s team prays for a great performance as she thanks her crew for standing by her. A flashback shows Erika’s struggles over the last two years, using this time to rise from the ashes. Kyle takes the stage to officially welcome her guests and introduce Erika Jayne. Erika and her dancers make their way to the stage, with Erika’s alter ego emerging! Everyone records as Erika returns to the stage, with Denise unable to resist shading Erika’s singing abilities.

Afterward, the crowd applauds Erika for a job well done, and Erika reflects on the hard work she did to make it to this point. After her residency, she plans on creating more music, while we find out PK came home after being away for thirty-nine days. Dorit doesn’t know if PK will ever change, but she isn’t giving up hope! However, Kyle and Dorit haven’t spoken since December, and it appears Annamarie and Crystal are in the same boat. Crystal is working on accepting her brother’s new living arrangement in Thailand and admits Rob was right about Jeff needing space.

Garcelle continues to grow as a mother and basks in her professional achievements, winning the Astra for Black Girl Missing. As the party wraps up, Sutton, a bit intoxicated, falls while blaming Avi. Sutton is working on making things happen for herself while spending time with her son James, focusing on Santos full time. The ladies take a group photo to end the night before we dive into the aftermath one month later. Annamarie is swimming with her kids as Dorit struggles to charge her phone and Garcelle receives a notification!

On July 23rd, 2023, news broke of Kyle and Mauricio’s separation, and the media is buzzing. Crystal fills Rob in on the situation as Dorit talks with PK about Kyle’s ability to keep it a secret. Annamarie wonders if Kyle made the statement to get ahead of it, whereas Rob and Crystal brainstorm about who leaked the information. Sutton tells Garcelle that Kyle showed signs earlier this season and now wants to ask more questions. Sutton thinks Kyle has been lying the entire time and that everything is suspect. A day later, Kyle and Mauricio release a joint statement while preparing to talk to the kids later.

Kyle reflects on where she was when the People Magazine article dropped, and although Mauricio wanted to know who leaked the story, Kyle’s focus was on her daughters. Kyle explains the awkward car ride home after the news broke and becomes emotional as she hugs Erika. Erika reflects on her divorce journey and wants to be there for Kyle during her time of need. Sitting with tea, Erika acknowledges and apologizes to Kyle for not understanding the gravity of her marital issues. Kyle lets Erika know they’ve been dealing with their issues privately and feels bad coming to terms with their struggles.

Kyle grapples with feeling like a bad person for being unable to pinpoint a specific reason for the separation, and she confirms to Erika that there’s no one else involved outside their marriage. She confides in Erika that Mauricio tends to pretend everything is fine, reflecting on the differences between them during their courtship. Overcome with emotion, Kyle continues to cry as Erika offers her encouragement to pick herself back up. Kyle feels like she has let everyone down, but Erika reassures her, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing her own happiness now. Kyle wonders about the future if they can’t resolve their issues, but before we get an answer, the scene shifts, and the next time we see Kyle is one week later.

Kyle and Mauricio stand in the kitchen, prepared to talk with their daughters. Mauricio attempts to lighten the mood with a joke about Kyle having an affair, but Kyle, feeling serious, brushes it off as their daughters enter the room. Mauricio pours himself a glass of wine before they begin. The girls appear confused as Kyle starts discussing the situation, and Mauricio assures them they tried to shield them from the truth. Hoping for openness, they explain that divorce isn’t being considered, though Portia brings up past rumors.

The girls are eager to understand what comes next, prompting Kyle to explain they’re taking space to address their personal issues. Portia expresses her displeasure with this plan, but Kyle tries to outline her intentions while keeping things vague. Portia breaks down in Kyle’s arms, while the other girls struggle to maintain composure. Farrah becomes emotional, but Kyle assures them they’ll remain strong, even through adversity.

In her confessional, Kyle acknowledges the possibility that she and Mauricio may not stay together. When pressed for details by producers, Kyle simply states, “Things happened that made me lose my trust, and I wasn’t able to recover from it.” As the end credits roll, a flashback of Kyle and Mauricio’s journey plays, teasing the explosive reunion to come.
