Monica Garcia’s Mother Repossesses Her Range Rover and Lists it for Sale
Monica Garcia’s mother, Linda, publicly marketed the reality star’s Range Rover on social media after their messy mother/daughter dynamic was featured on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
Linda hyped the vehicle’s “Housewives” connection, writing on X—“FOR SALE: Monica Garcia’s Range Rover as seen on #RHOSLC.”
Linda listed the luxury vehicle as a 2017 model with 159,494 miles, with a $41,200 price tag.
Linda added — “[Monica] had it wrapped with a new gorgeous rusty gold color after shooting. I can post a photo tomorrow.”
She asked all interested, “serious buyers” to contact her via a “DM.”
Shortly thereafter, Linda deleted the post, writing — “I’ve deleted my post about the Range Rover. A friend has advised me this isn’t the best place to advertise it.”
She clarified that the Range Rover was “still for sale.”
Linda posted a cryptic graphic pointing to her personal life goals, the same day as she put her daughter’s vehicle up for sale. She captioned the post “Thank you for everything! No blaming.” She wrote — “I allow” things described as fun, health, success, abundance, luxurious, respectful, and good, “to happen for me.”
Fans got a look inside the newcomer’s rocky relationship with her mother during RHOSLC Season 4. After Linda temporarily took away her daughter’s vehicle during one of their spats, Monica claimed that her actions were a ploy to gain the upper hand in disputes.
Last month, Linda hit back after Monica claimed, during the second part of the reunion, that she had prayed to land her daughter’s spot on the Bravo series.
Monica Garcia, 40, told her cast mates and reunion host, Andy Cohen, that Linda hoped to be chosen if Monica was rejected, during the casting process.
Linda took to X to slam Monica as a liar, after the reunion episode aired.
“Everything Monica says about me is a lie or half-truth. I NEVER applied/auditioned,” Linda wrote on January 16. “Not [season four] or any other. I’m an award-winning journalist and TV producer. That was the TV job in NYC — News Journalist/Producer. I already had the job.”
Linda went on to claim that “reality TV is not [her] cup of tea.”
Linda included a text message exchange she supposedly had with her daughter, in February 2023, in which she supposedly wrote — “I know they don’t need me.”
Monica purportedly replied — “Yes I do … I need you.”
Linda shared another message that appeared to back up her story regarding her reality TV ambitions.
“And I wanna be there for you!! [One hundred percent] … But I ain’t selling my soul!!” she wrote, adding a few emojis to press her point.
Monica explained to viewers at the time that her mother had left her as a child to pursue a career in television in New York. She added that they had not communicated since filming wrapped.
