Kim Zolciak REJOINS ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ For Season 16

Kim Zolciak hinted that she was headed back to the Real Housewives of Atlanta last week, amid her complicated divorce from estranged husband, Kroy Biermann.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum spent Valentine’s Day trying to unload her Cartier Love bracelet, via Instagram. She returned to the platform the next day to tease her reality TV comeback, posting a photo of herself posing in black pants, a black and white striped top and black boots. However, it was the added video camera emoji that caught the attention of fans, as it appeared to confirm that she was currently filming an unnamed project.

The post fueled speculation that the mom of six might be retuning to the Atlanta franchise.

According to Mediatakeout.com, a production source claims Kim Zolciak is making a comeback in the upcoming season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, promising to deliver a hefty dose of drama.

The teased “Housewives” comeback comes as the duo’s bitter divorce war, which has included multiple lawsuits, domestic conflicts and the looming foreclosure of their Georgia mansion, continues to make headlines.

Kim posted the image after filing for a confidentiality order in an effort to shut down her soon-to-be ex from dishing secret divorce details to the press, per TMZ.

Earlier this month, the 45-year-old requested a protective order that would redact key names and financial records contained in divorce documents she had submitted to the court. Kim stated that she wanted to protect herself as media outlets continued to cover the divorce, noting the ongoing public interest in the famous couple’s nasty split.

The outlet reported that Kim had claimed that embarrassing information had already leaked, and that Kroy was to blame. She alleged that his resistance to her request supported her claim that he was the snitch tipping off the media. She asked the court to order a mandate that would shut down the information flow of sensitive details pertaining to their ongoing divorce.

Kroy responded to the latest legal twist by alleging that Kim had “a whole lot” to hide.

Kroy has absolutely nothing to hide in these divorce proceedings and documents,” an insider told Page Six, earlier this month.

Kim’s teaser came shortly after news broke that popular RHOA veteran, Porsha Williams, had inked a deal with NBCUniversal that included her return to RHOA for Season 16.

The partnership will involve collaborating on “unscripted project opportunities across the company’s broadcast and streaming properties.”

“I’m incredibly thankful for the vision and faith NBCUniversal has put in me to be a larger part of their family,” she said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to being back on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and showing the world my new world!”

Porsha Williams Guobadia is a multi-hyphenate and we are fortunate to collaborate and tap into her creativity and passion through this partnership,” Rachel Smith, Executive Vice President of Unscripted Content, Lifestyle and Documentaries, NBCUniversal Entertainment, shared in a statement. “Our audience has supported and admired Porsha as she so authentically, hilariously and vulnerably shared her life over the years and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome her back to the NBCU family.”

Porsha’s exit from The Real Housewives of Atlanta occurred several months after news surfaced of her engagement to now-husband, Simon Guobadia. The pair met while filming RHOA Season 13 through his then-wife, Falynn Pina, who was introduced to viewers as Porsha’s “friend.”
