‘Bachelorette’ Alum Jason Tartick PRAISES Nick Viall For Shading His Ex Kaitlyn Bristowe
Bachelorette alum, Jason Tartick, praised Nick Viall after the podcaster shaded his ex, Kaitlyn Bristowe, on social media.
“Nick’s a friend. I love Nick,” the 35-year-old told Page Six over the weekend at Maxim’s Super Bowl 2024 bash.
Tartick reportedly tried to shift the narrative, adding—“I think what Nick is doing with his podcast is unreal and, you know what? I like Nick. Nick’s a good guy.”
The reality star was pressed to weigh in on the comment Viall wrote under one of his Instagram posts but Tartick simply commented—“I’ll leave that up for interpretation.”
Last week, the 43-year-old podcast host took to the comment section underneath a shirtless photo of Tartick and his pal, Tyler Cameron, snapped on a beach, writing — “Nothing asexual about this.”
The remark was in reference to Bristowe, 38, dishing on her own podcast, “Off the Vine,” that she had lost her sex drive during a past relationship with an unidentified man.
“I thought I was asexual. I literally thought I was asexual,” she said during the February 6 podcast episode.
The Dancing With the Stars champion added — “I was like, I think at this point I could see myself more with a woman — I actually thought that — than a man.”
Some fans took issue with Viall’s comment, defending Bristowe by pointing out that she never confirmed that she was referring to Tartick.
One user said — “why you believe headlines. Listen to the actual podcast, it wasnt about Jason. It was about her hormones and state of being 🙄.
Another fan disagreed, writing — “It was [about Tartick]. She said as soon as she left that relationship and started dating, she got her MOJO back.”
Bristowe and Tartick dated for four years before parting ways, in August 2023.
The couple announced their split in a joint statement, writing — “After sharing the news with family and close friends first, and taking the time to properly process it ourselves, we are saddened with heavy hearts to share that we have decided to end our engagement.”
“We are thankful for all of you who gave us the time and space to process this life altering decision as there are many emotions and changes to navigate.”
The duo’s friendly relationship went south after the former “Bachelorette” personality was seen spending time with “Bachelor Nation” alum, Zac Clark.
Bristowe shared that she believed that her ex was “leaning into the victim mentality,” during a January episode of her podcast.
“I don’t want to dismiss that he’s hurting. I don’t want to dismiss that his feelings are valid,” she explained. “The word disappointed keeps coming up. I feel so disappointed that someone could use a false narrative to garner sympathy for themselves.”
Tartick is reportedly on the hunt for love, telling the outlet—“[I’m] out here single, mingling, all things are going, you know, so we’ll see.”
