Tom Sandoval’s Suicide Confession Sends Shockwaves Through Lisa Vanderpump

Tom Sandoval confessed to struggling with thoughts of suicide after his affair with Raquel Leviss came to light.

During Tuesday’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, the reality star opened up about the decline of his mental health following the revelation, as his co-stars continued to tarnish his reputation.

“I battle with f–king suicide,” Sandoval, 40, revealed to Lisa Vanderpump. “I was hanging on by a thread. Your walls start closing in. You can’t see outside of, like, the hurt, the pain,” he further expressed in a confessional.

“You can’t dream about better days. I was getting to the point where I felt like, what’s the f–king point?”

Lisa Vanderpump was taken aback by Sandoval’s confession, stating to cameras that she had advised the singer in March 2023 to inform her if he ever experienced suicidal feelings following the bombshell cheating scandal.

“Tom Sandoval assured me after the reunion when I called him on the car on the way home. I said, ‘You promise me, Tom. If ever you have any thoughts like that.’ He said, ‘I’m not that person. I wouldn’t do that,” she explained.

“So to hear him say he’s had those thoughts and he didn’t call me, that scares the f–king living daylights out of me. After losing my only sibling to suicide, I can’t hear that and do nothing about it.”

Later, Lisa, 63, spoke with co-star Tom Schwartz, who also attended the gathering, to discuss Sandoval’s “dark thoughts.”

“He was so low that he actually said, ‘I’ve had some really dark thoughts,’” she explained.

“When I hear that, that scares the life out of me, because my brother said a similar thing to me, and then, suddenly, it’s too late,” Lisa continued.

She then requested Schwartz to gather the rest of the cast for a trip to Lake Tahoe in an attempt to “help change this whole narrative.”

However, the group wasn’t receptive to the idea, with Sandoval’s ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix, 38, showing no remorse as she claimed her ex “destroyed” his support system himself. Sandoval and Ariana were in a nine-year relationship before he cheated on her with Raquel.

The Dancing With the Stars alum discovered the “months-long” affair when an inappropriate video of the former beauty queen appeared on Sandoval’s phone in March 2023.
