Teen Mom 2: Kailyn Lowry Reveals BIZARRE Baby Names for Her Newborn Twins

Kailyn Lowry has revealed the names of her newborn twins. The Teen Mom 2 alum welcomed a girl, her first daughter, and a boy with boyfriend, Elijah Scott, last month.

Kailyn Lowry, 31, shared a peek at her infant daughter, whom she named Valley, and her son, Verse, in a TikTok video posted Friday. The mom of seven gave followers a look inside the twins’ bedroom, which contained two cribs with two blankets, one pink and one blue, printed with their names. 

The 31-year-old also showed off a gray blanket printed with the word “Mama,” along with the seven names of her children stamped in white letters. 

Fans took to the post’s comment section to gush over her name selections. 

One follower wrote — “Gorgeous names!! 💙💗 I’ve decided no more babies but this video made me want twins 😂😍.”

Another chimed in — “You are extremely blessed! Absolutely beautiful names🥺💗🩵,” while a third user called the monikers “very unique.” 

One fan raved — “The names you picked are amazing. I’ve been watching you since teen mom and I have to say you are an amazing mother. Your children are very blessed too.” 

Last month, the former MTV star shared the first photo of the babies after giving birth five weeks early. Kailyn revealed the image in a preview of the January 26 episode of her podcast, “Barely Famous.”  

The ex reality star shared the first snap of her sixth and seventh child at the start of the teaser. The image revealed Kailyn holding the swaddled babies, who were connected to individual incubators, while sitting in a chair. The infants spent several weeks in the NICU after they were born, via a cesarean section, five weeks ahead of her due date. Kailyn also shares an older son, Rio, 1, with Scott, whom she kept under the radar for nearly a year.

 

She told listeners — “It was really scary because … we had experienced the NICU for a few days [with Rio] and he was big. He was 9 pounds, so that was different for us and got to go home shortly after.”

She continued — “But for the twins, we were five weeks early and there were two of them. I didn’t get to hold them until the next day or 48 hours [later].” 

Kailyn posted the twins’ debut pic on her Instagram account, the same day. 

Kailyn, who had her tubes tied after the birth, shares son Isaac, 14, with ex, Jo Rivera, Lincoln, 10, with ex-husband, Javi Marroquin, sons, Lux, 6, and Creed, 3, with ex, Chris Lopez, in addition to her three children with Scott.  

Kailyn made her reality TV debut on “16 and Pregnant” in 2010, and went on to star in spinoff series, “Teen Mom 2,” for several seasons. She left the long-running MTV show in 2022.
