sMothered: Mom-Daughter Team Sunnie and Eva Double Down on Giving Each Other Facials on their Vaginas
sMothered duo, Sunnie Diab and her mother, Eva, spoke about one of the pair’s most unusual beauty rituals in a recent interview with Page Six.
“For me, the vajacial thing is just about cleanliness and I think it’s gross that people think it’s gross,” Sunnie told the outlet of the private area spa treatment.
“I’m like, ‘Do you not clean your kitty down there? It’s weird that you don’t do that,’” the 36-year-old explained. “Your mom was the first person to see that, so why not it be your mom and she’s a professional at it?”
Eva and Sunnie own a boutique salon that specializes in aesthetic treatments. The mother/daughter team, who share an extremely close relationship, often practice their skills, which include anal bleaching and bikini waxing, on each other. Eva and Sunnie also shave each other’s armpits.
Eva revealed that she sees the activity with a clinical eye, commenting — “In my opinion, it’s more [medical]. This is how God created us, especially women.”
She emphasized the vajacials, which created chatter among fans when the concept was featured on the TLC show.
“[The vagina] has to be cleaned, it has to be sanitized, from the underwear to the surface,” Eva reiterated. “Maybe we need to talk more about it to educate the people, you know?”
Sunnie, who has labeled the mother-daughter practice “just so normal,” called the negative feedback on the topic “sad,” adding that such an attitude pointed to a weak family bond.
“It made me sad for other people that they don’t have a relationship with their mom that I do,” she said, referring to the criticism they’ve received since the series debuted, last year.
“How shocked people are, I’m like, ‘Oh my God.’ I just want to hug them and be like, ‘You don’t have this love, so you don’t understand it,’” she continued. “So, it just makes me sad that other people don’t have that, that closeness with their mom.”
Sunnie and Eva even wear vials of each other’s blood as jewelry, similar to celebrity exes, Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton, who wore the fluid around their necks during their three year marriage.
“Yeah, see? She did it, too!” Sunnie said of the actress. “People do that with ashes and stuff, so I don’t see anything wrong with it. They do that with people who have passed away. I’m like, why not do it while my mom is still alive so we can enjoy it?”
Sunnie, who previously appeared on “Couples Court,” “Divorce Court” and “A Night With My Ex,” is preparing to release a spicy tell-all book about her life in the dating world.
Sunnie, who is currently in a serious relationship, and former Playboy Playmate, Veronica Gomez, describe wild encounters with all types of men, including fraudsters and sex addicts, in “The Chronicles of John Doe: Dating Disasters.”
“It’s going to be good,” Sunnie dished. “I don’t care what my exes think, but they better be prepared. Sure, we’re keeping the guys anonymous — but we held nothing back. They’ll be able to figure it out.”
The Chronicles of John Doe: Dating Disasters will hit the shelves later this year. “sMothered” airs on Tuesdays at 10 pm ET on TLC.
