Tamra Judge Confirms Wendy Osefo is the PROBLEM on ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’
Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp have weighed in on the drama playing out between Wendy Osefo and Nneka Ihim on the Real Housewives of Potomac.
In December, Nneka Ihim spoke to Page Six after her relationship with Wendy got off to a bumpy start, early in the season. It was revealed that Wendy’s mother had submitted Nneka’s name to a sinister shrine, in what Nneka claimed was a purported scheme to “ambush” and “embarrass” her during her debut season.
Nneka told the outlet that she and Wendy Osefo clashed on camera after a series of phone calls went down ahead of filming season. She said that the conversations were marked by “hostility and aggression and venom.” Nneka alleged that Wendy’s sister-in-law had called her friend, Nneka’s cousin-in-law, and “suggested” that they “ambush” the RHOP newbie to “embarrass [her] on national television.”
Several cast members purportedly communicated that Wendy didn’t want Nneka to join the group, and some hinted that jealousy was in play.
“Unfortunately, I do feel that that was the case,” Nneka told the outlet.
She explained—“Like I said, things that happened prior to the cameras showing up kind of led me to that conclusion, [which were] consistent with the things that she did while the cameras were rolling. So ultimately, she didn’t want me there. And you know, it’s not her decision. God has blessed me, and here I am.”
Nneka added that she was happy to “forgive and I forget” if Wendy was willing to drop it and move on. Wendy appeared to be moving in that direction when she invited her nemesis to her husband’s cannabis party, but things cooled between the two when Nneka suggested a private conversation to address their issues. Later in the episode, Wendy was a no-show at Nneka’s unpacking party, without informing the hostess.
Tamra and Teddi sounded off on the situation on a recent episode of their podcast, “Two Ts In a Pod,” after watching Sunday’s episode.
“Wendy is the problem,” Tamra declared. “Nneka keeps trying to move forward. Wendy keeps moving backwards, trying to find reasons not to like her. I don’t understand it.”
Teddi agreed and chimed in—“You can tell when Wendy is doing her confessionals that she’s calculating her answer.”
Teddi concluded that Wendy should either move on from the tired voodoo drama or move on from the show altogether.
“To be honest, Wendy move on from this. I’m sure your mom has moved on from this. Make up with Nneka or don’t be on the show at this point,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum said.
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs on Sundays at 8 pm ET on Bravo.
