Kyle Richards Confirms Lesbian Relationship with Morgan Wade is Still GOING STRONG Despite Social Media Cleanse!
Kyle Richards confirmed that her relationship with Morgan Wade was “good,” after the country music singer wiped all images of the pair off her social media.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star spoke to a paparazzo on Wednesday, and explained that Morgan removed the photos in order to not distract from the release of her new studio album.
“[She’s got new music] coming out,” Kyle said in a video .
Kyle, who was approached while out and about in Sherman Oaks, California, added—“It’s very common for artists to do that. That didn’t mean anything.”
Recording artists frequently delete photos from Instagram accounts to promote and create chatter about new projects. Morgan removed all pics of the cozy duo last week, leaving posts only promoting her “Crossing State Lines” tour, slated for this spring. Her scheduled appearance on Alanis Morissette’s “Triple Moon” tour also made the cut.
Kyle, who was dressed in a pink sweatshirt and black ball cap, reiterated that her friendship with Morgan was going strong, commenting — “Yeah, we’re all good.”
Kyle laughed when she was asked if she enjoyed having the singer appear on RHOBH.
She said — “I appreciated it. I don’t know if she did.”
Fans took note when Morgan deleted all of the photos of herself and the reality star, with many speculating that there had been a falling out between the two.
One person guessed on X — “I think Morgan told Kyle byeeeeee.”
Another wrote — “I told Y’all Kyle was using her. Now shes done with her. Morgan has probably figured that out.”
Sources previously told various outlets that the mass deletion was simply a strategy to get more eyes on the country artist’s page, and that Kyle, 55, and Morgan, 29, remained close pals.
Kyle and Morgan sparked romance rumors in the wake of the Bravo star’s separation from her husband of 27 years, Mauricio Umansky. The estranged couple confirmed reports of the split, in July.
Kyle has repeatedly denied that she and Morgan, who dates women, share anything more than a friendship.
In August, Kyle leaned into the swirling rumors when she appeared in a suggestive music video featuring the singer. The video, titled “Fall in Love with Me,” included footage of the women almost kissing, sharing a bathtub and feeding each other, among other provocative activities. The steamy production was supposedly designed to “poke fun” at the runaway rumor.
Kyle continued to raise eyebrows when she asked co-star, Dorit Kemsley, if she would ever consider dating a woman, during a recent RHOBH episode. Crystal Kung-Minkoff flipped the script and asked Kyle the same question. The mom of four casually replied, “yeah.”
In July, news broke that Kyle had separated from the real estate mogul after a 27-year marriage. The estranged couple denied that they were headed for divorce, only fessing up to enduring a “rough year.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays, at 8 pm ET, on Bravo.
