‘RHOP’ Star Nneka Ihim Puts Melissa Gorga On BLAST!

Real Housewives of Potomac newcomer, Nneka Ihim, has been at odds with Wendy Osefo, but shifted her focus to a New Jersey “Housewife” during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live. 

Nneka participated in a game called Truth or Drink Your Sweet Tea, during which she was asked to answer series of shady, Bravo-themed questions. The 36-year-old was asked to dish which Bravo celeb was the “most dismissive” toward her during BravoCon 2023. 

Nneka spilled that an interaction with Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Melissa Gorga, had not been particularly pleasant. 

“Honestly, I hate to say this, but I would say Melissa Gorga wasn’t very nice,” she said. “But her husband [Joe Gorga] was amazing. Literally.”

Nneka’s chilly encounter with Melissa came shortly before she revealed that some of her co-stars believed that Wendy did not want her to join the RHOP friend group. 

Nneka claimed that some of the women hinted that the snub was rooted in jealousy, in a December interview with Page Six.   

“Unfortunately, I do feel that that was the case,” Nneka told the outlet.  “Like I said, things that happened prior to the cameras showing up kind of led me to that conclusion, [which were] consistent with the things that she did while the cameras were rolling. So ultimately, she didn’t want me there. And you know, it’s not her decision. God has blessed me, and here I am.”

Nneka, who is reportedly from the same Nigerian tribe as Wendy, accused her cast mate’s mother of submitting her name to a shrine, as part of an alleged plot to embarrass her during her debut season.

Melissa has a dicey reputation in regard to the annual fan event. She made headlines during BravoCon 2022 after multiple reports claimed that she had instigated a confrontation with co-star, Jennifer Aydin. Melissa allegedly called her co-star a “loser, f–king loser wannabe,” prompting her cast mate to fire back a “shut the f–k up.”

Jennifer mixed it up with the Gorgas after they crossed paths in the lobby of Gansevoort Meatpacking Hotel in New York City, in October 2022.  

Joe reportedly stepped in to defend his wife, telling Jennifer — “Shut up you dirty f**king bitch.”  Jennifer, who was with her assistant at the time, allegedly responded by tossing her plastic cup. Jennifer later denied throwing a cup at Joe, but admitted to flinging water in the direction of Tom Minion, the couple’s “talent guy,” who purportedly told her, “you’re low class and trash.”

Bravo executive, Andy Cohen, later told Entertainment Tonight of the side  drama — “I think it’s gross. Period dot.”

Earlier this month, Joe Gorga was booted from a New Jersey high school  after he charged a boy taking on his son, Gino Gorga, in the wrestling ring.  The incident took place at Parsippany Hills High School, after Gino was pinned by his opponent. TMZ obtained video footage of Joe angrily approaching the referee and his son’s opponent following the conclusion of Gino’s match. Staffers and other parents intervened before the ref blew his whistle and ordered Joe to exit the gymnasium.
