Caroline Manzo Suing Bravo For Encouraging Brandi Glanville to Sexually Assault Her and for Heterosexual Discrimination!
Caroline Manzo has taken legal action against Bravo, alleging that an incident involving Brandi Glanville on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip was inappropriate. Caroline claims the event was excessively lewd, and she believes it crossed acceptable boundaries.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum has filed a lawsuit against Bravo and several production companies involved in the RHUGT series. The suit stems from an incident that occurred in January 2023 in Morocco during filming the Bravo spinoff — an installment of the franchise set in Africa. Caroline alleges the incident crossed the line of appropriateness.
In the lawsuit, Caroline Manzo claims an incident of sexual harassment involving Brandi Glanville. The alleged incident occurred during the filming of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip in Morocco. The show brings together ‘Housewives’ from various series to film their vacation experiences. Caroline’s lawsuit details the alleged inappropriate conduct that she claims was encouraged by producers on location.
As previously reported, Brandi not only gave Caroline an “unwanted kisses,” during the incident but she also fondled her chest and genital area.
Brandi “touched [Manzo’s] breast area and vaginal area” over her clothes during one interaction, reports Page Six. Also, Brandi “stuck her tongue down [Manzo’s] throat,” while partying in Morocco on January 25.
Caroline Manzo, 62, who is a heterosexual married mom of three instantly felt sick to to her stomach by the sexual assault.
The source tells the outlet that shortly after — Caroline, Brandi, Alex McCord and a fourth member of the cast, all went to a bathroom together. While in the latrine Brandi, “pinned Caroline against the wall.”
“She put her hands on Caroline’s breast area and vaginal area,” claimed a source familiar with the incident, which has been corroborated by a number of other sources.
Brandi has publicly acknowledged the incident, stating on Twitter that producers of the show tend to encourage dramatic and over-the-top behavior for the sake of ratings. This statement came in light of the situation which probably will no longer be aired.
In March 2023, Brandi skipped The Traitors Season 1 reunion amid an ongoing investigation into an alleged incident involving the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum and her RHUGT co-star, Caroline Manzo.
“Brandi wanted nothing more than to attend The Traitors reunion,” Brandi’s rep told PEOPLE. “It has been one of Brandi’s favorite projects.”
“Brandi has been prohibited from sharing her side of the story and in turn, people have only heard unsubstantiated versions,” the rep added. “Brandi maintains her innocence and vehemently denies any wrongdoing.”
Brandi also claimed that both she and Caroline were “very intoxicated” at the time of the incident.
“I can speak on anything I want to speak on,” Brandi wrote on Twitter. “It was at the end of an 18 hour [work] day at our belly dancing party & I’d like to see footage on it. … “I’m f–king sick of this narrative. I was hired for a 2nd season of girls trip cuz they LOVED what I did on 1st season I was told to bring the party just like before & that’s exactly what I did & I was punished for it. It feels like a f–king set up. It’s BS & Caroline was fine.”
According to the suit, Caroline alleges that Brandi Glanville was encouraged by the show’s producers to engage in over-the-top and dramatic behavior, including excessive alcohol consumption. This claim ties into an incident between Caroline and Brandi during the filming of “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” in Morocco. Caroline’s legal action suggests this incident was particularly distressing for her, citing past trauma from her childhood. Brandi, having been on other Bravo ‘Girls Trip’ seasons, has also spoken out online about producers pushing cast members towards certain behaviors to enhance the show’s drama.
Caroline is suing Bravo, alleging sexual harassment, gender discrimination, and other violations of state laws in California and New York. This lawsuit stems from an incident with Brandi Glanville during the filming of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip in Morocco.
Caroline claims that Brandi’s actions, which she found distressing, were encouraged by producers. She is seeking significant damages and has spoken out about the traumatic impact of the incident. Bravo has yet to respond to these allegations.
