‘RHOBH’ RECAP: Annemarie Wiley Throws Crystal Under the Bus in Barcelona!

Get in losers! It’s time for a new episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As the sun shines over LA, Garcelle Beauvais is packing for Barcelona, while Dorit Kemsley packs as she chats with PK in London.

Crystal Minkoff’s packing with the help of Lucy (Crystal’s housekeeper) and Sutton Strake’s bossing Avi around per usual. Avi rolls Sutton around on her suitcase as Sutton picks out a few outfits.

Avi’s not sure why he’s not coming but Sutton admits glam and Merce Cunningham is tagging along. Avi’s not comfortable handing Merce’s ashes but Sutton wants to release her friends ashes in Barcelona, so Avi has to get to work. 

Avi brings Sutton, Merce’s ashes in a zip lock bag as Sutton explains how meaningful this trip will be. Sutton and Avi discuss the best way to carry Merce to Spain as we see the ladies begin to arrive at the airport. Crystal notices Annamarie Wiley’s suitcases and Erika Jayne urges Crystal to be nice as the two greet Annamarie.

Crystal’s hoping a couple of sangria’s can lighten the mood as Erika prepares to keep the positivity going. Garcelle arrives at the airport and admits she’s never been to Spain as Kyle Richards and the rest of the ladies begin boarding their flights. First class all the way as Dorit changes into her Chanel PJ’s and Crystal shows off her $7.99 pajama set. 

Landing in Barcelona, the ladies board the sprinter van and head to the hotel! Excitement is in the air as the ladies sight seeing as Sutton instructs the ladies to draw for rooms. Sutton wants to play a game with the ladies for a prize and the game is called: All of a Sutton. Erika gets the first point for naming Sutton’s cat and the ladies have a good laugh when Garcelle brings up Erika’s former stripping days. Erika laughs as Sutton admits Erika made more money than she did as a nanny, before moving on to the next set of questions. Sutton’s surprised that Erika won since Garcelle’s her bestie as Erika questions whose Sutton’s true BFF. 

At the hotel, the ladies take in the view as they meet Zoe (Air BnB host) with glasses of sangria. Zoe explains their hotel is seven-hundred years old and has been fully restored for their enjoyment. Zoe warns the ladies that the hotel is haunted, and Erika admits she has the ability to smell spirits. Dorit begins to freak out as Annamarie and Garcelle wonder which of the two will be the first killed in this horror movie. Zoe mentions there are friendly small spirits and not to be worried as the group recollects themselves. Erika encourages the ladies to embrace the experience as they begin drawing rooms. 

Everyone enjoys their rooms as Erika tries hard to remain stable in the midst of ghost. Kyle, Erika, and Dorit begin exploring as Zoe instructs the ladies to get ready for dinner. The cameraman ends up scaring Dorit as Crystal and Garcelle’s glam team arrive. After Dorit’s clothes fall in her closet, she visits Kyle in her room and begins criticizing Kyle’s wardrobe. Kyle shades Dorit’s fashion choices in her confessional as Dorit continues questioning Kyle’s choices. Kyle never know what she’s in the mood for and reveals leather yoga pants are her go too. Dorit feels that Kyle is a new woman and although Dorit understands Kyle wants to show off that body, she doesn’t understand this new version of Kyle. 

Dorit questions if Kyle’s looking for her next husband in Spain as she encourages Kyle to throw some outfits away. Making their way to dinner, Sutton and Crystal check out the live music being played as the rest of the ladies get dressed. Garcelle’s becoming paranoid as glam fixes her up and Garcelle explains being from Haiti she believes in ghost. Garcelle wants no part of the dark side as Garcelle asks the spirits to be nice. Crystal inquires about the rest of the ladies as Sutton tells Crystal that Kyle’s currently in her room, in a robe, sitting on the floor. Kyle’s silly self is still getting ready as Garcelle, Annamarie, and Dorit join Crystal and Sutton. 

The group chats downstairs as Kyle fumbles with her outfit choices and Erika joins the ladies for dinner. Erika shows off her new tiara from Sutton’s store and a flashback shows Sutton gifting it to Erika as she got dressed. Garcelle compliments Erika as Kyle finally makes her way downstairs. Chef Storm introduces himself and automatically the single women are swooning over him. Garcelle asks if Chef Storm will be there all weekend and Annamarie replies, “Cause we’re hungry” and Chef Storm ensures he’ll be at their beck and call. Garcelle and Erika agree to tag team Chef Storm all weekend as the ladies laugh at their boldness. 

Annamarie urges the ladies to check if Chef Storm has a ring, but Erika don’t wanna hear any of that! Sutton brings out a special guest (which are Merce’s ashes) and shares what she plans to do with them. The ladies question Sutton’s method of travel for Merce as Sutton explains how much Merce Cunningham meant to her. Sutton explains she worked for Merce for six years and how the two became close in the dance studio. Sutton tells the girls that Merce called her when her father died and didn’t judge Sutton for her quirkiness. Chef Storm brings out the first course as Annamarie and Garcelle side-eye their victim. 

The ladies enjoy their food, and all is well as Dorit begins moaning at her food. Everyone’s in great spirits before Annamarie interrupts to address the elephant in the room. Annamarie admits last weekend was a lot and apologized for her part in the Sutton beef.

Annamarie hopes she and Sutton are in a better spot and Sutton wishes the same but brings up a comment Annamarie made about being “lonely” and “insecure.” A flashback shows Annamarie basically saying how blessed she is to wake up to her husband and that she’s not lonely or insecure. 

Sutton didn’t like Annamarie insinuating she was insecure and reveals to the group she felt more alone in her marriage before she got divorced. Sutton brings up the other divorcees at the table before checking Annamarie about being lonely. Garcelle also felt offended by Annamarie’s comment and Annamarie apologized rudely again. Garcelle wants Annamarie to keep her rude a** apology as Crystal tries to jump in, but Annamarie says “We’re gonna get to you” and the ladies know it’s about to go down! 

Annamarie explains meeting Crystal at a mutual friends house and that Crystal told Annamarie that the ladies of the group weren’t educated and were very shallow. The group gasp and coin themselves as educated as Dorit shades Crystal in her confessional by calling her a “child-bride.” Garcelle questions Crystal and Crystal denies Annamarie’s accusations. However, a flashback to 2020 shows Crystal calling the ladies “savvy” but not very educated. Garcelle remembers Crystal’s tone when they first met, and a flashback shows some of Crystal’s condescending ways. 

Annamarie also brings up that Crystal thinks the ladies are “fake socialite” and that Crystal’s the true socialite of Beverly Hills. Sutton’s not worried about being a socialite because she is a socialite and Dorit begins to believe Crystal could have said it. Crystal’s offended that Garcelle questioned her again and asks the ladies if she ever said she was a socialite. The ladies agree they never heard Crystal say these things, but Annamarie isn’t backing down from her claims. Annamarie tells Crystal she needs to feel better than people and soon Annamarie and Crystal go back and forth. 

Annamarie tells Crystal to be honest and Crystal keeps telling Annamarie to give her examples while Crystal begins to raise her voice. Annamarie thinks Crystal’s insecure, and Crystal brings up Annamarie misrepresenting her position as a nurse anesthesiologist. Annamarie tells Crystal to bring it down a notch and calls Crystal a hormonal teenager before thanking Crystal for making her relevant. Crystal laughs as Dorit urges the ladies to put a pen in it but Annamarie and Crystal have other plans. Dorit thanks Sutton for dinner and the ladies retire to their rooms for the night. 

At 1:00 am, cameras catch Garcelle tip toeing to Sutton’s room as Sutton drunkly gets her room together. Garcelle shades Sutton’s orange hat as Sutton tries to play up her bad choices. Garcelle brings up sleeping with Sutton in Vegas and although she talked all night, Garcelle needs her bestie to protect her. Sutton and Garcelle play all night and the next morning the ladies are getting ready for the day. Dorit and Erika couldn’t sleep but Garcelle looks refreshed as she visits Annamarie in her room. Erika’s doing vocal exercises and Dorit thought it was a bird as Sutton visits Crystal after last night. 

Closing the door, Crystal calls Annamarie a lot and Annamarie tells Garcelle that she doesn’t like drama. Annamarie tells Garcelle that Crystal isn’t being truthful but Crystal’s confident the ladies don’t believe Annamarie. Erika and Dorit question the validity of Annamarie’s accusation and can see Crystal saying something like that in anger. Sutton wonders why Crystal’s letting Annamarie off the hook, but Crystal doesn’t need Annamarie’s apology to move on. Sutton reminisces on meeting Crystal and their rough patch, with hopes that Annamarie and Crystal can nip this in the butt. 

Sutton encourages Crystal to continue standing her ground and encourages Crystal to tell Annamarie to back off. Later, the ladies meet downstairs as Sutton explains the days itinerary. Sutton explains they’re going to church and Erika receives an update about her earrings. Pointing Crystal out, Erika reads the article that basically lets the world know her expensive earrings are hers to keep. Erika becomes animated as she explains she wanted the ladies to let the stories play out before jumping to conclusions. A flashback shows the ladies questioning Erika about the earrings and now Erika feels vindicated.

“A win is a win” Erika says as the ladies congratulated Erika on the win. Garcelle still wants Erika to give the earrings up to give something back to the victims, but we know that’s not happening. Sutton asks the ladies not to get so loud and Erika still expected more from the group. Erika wants some acknowledgment but before then Sutton rushes them to the sprinter van. As the groups separate, Erika hits her head getting in the van and continues questioning the groups response as she speaks “therapy” into her life. Sutton burps in the van as Kyle complains about the bumpy roads. 

Crystal begins getting car sick and tells the car to stop so she can get out. Crystal begins throwing up and notices her veins popping out. Crystal’s going through it as production stops both vans and Garcelle asks Annamarie for her medical advice. The ladies gather around Crystal as she has a medical emergency and Kyle calls 911 as Crystal begins to cry! Goodness let’s hope she’s okay on the next episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
