Mama June’s Teeth ‘Rotten’ After Spending $40K on Veneers
June Shannon sparked concern over the health of her teeth, after sharing a TikTok video during her recent trip to Covington, Georgia.
Earlier this month, Mama June took to the platform to show her fans a haul of treats and ice cream her family purchased from a sweet shop called Scoops. The “Mama June: Family Crisis” star spoke to fans and followers about the importance of supporting small businesses, but it was her rotten teeth that grabbed the attention of fans.
Concerned followers spoke out about the unsettling video in a Reddit thread on the topic.
The user said — “Her rotten teeth are probably due to terrible hygiene.”
A second chimed in — “They look somewhat white, just rotten and gray.”
A third person noted — “Veneers certainly can look gross if you don’t care for them.”
Another critic added — “You gotta be a different type of unhygienic.”
Some users defended the WeTV star, claiming that the stains on her teeth were from snacking on sweets at the confectionary.
Back in November 2020, June took to Instagram to show off her sparkling new smile—which took the place of her “rotten teeth.”
June explained her dental transformation and revealed that her then-boyfriend, Geno Doak, underwent the same procedure. The duo’s dental work was done by a team at Beverly Hills Dental Lab Inc.
Earlier this month, June denied allegations that she had relapsed on drugs after she appeared unhinged and drugged on a livestream video.
The reality star said she was cooking as she rambled about haters, per a report by TMZ. She claimed that she had to bend down to make out comments due to blindness in one eye. She insisted that she was clean and sober after being slammed with backlash over the TikTok video, during which she ranted about online trolls.
In March 2019, June was arrested alongside Geno Doak amid spiraling drug addiction. June and Geno were busted for felony drug possession the following year. They checked into rehab together but split in August 2021.
June subsequently lost custody of her youngest daughter, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson. In 2022, the court awarded Alana’s older sister, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird, sole custody of the minor.
June has seemingly worked to regain her life and mend relationships with her children, in recent years.
The upcoming season of “Mama June: Family Crisis,” will chronicle the sad passing of June’s eldest daughter, Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell, who battled adrenal carcinoma for ten months. She was only 29 years old. Last month, June was awarded temporary custody of Anna’s oldest child, Kaitlyn, shortly after her daughter’s death.
