Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb Gush Over Travis Kelce!
Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb gushed over Travis Kelce flashing a heart hand gesture made famous by his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, after scoring a clutch touchdown during the Kansas City Chiefs’ playoff game Sunday.
The Today with Hoda and Jenna co-hosts fawned over the romantic gesture as they opened the show by mimicking the hand motion.
“Heart, heart, we’re into hearts!” Jenna raved. “We love it!”
Hoda chimed in, noting that Kelce was showing “love” for the pop star in the headline-grabbing moment.
“If you are in the middle of an NFL game, and you look up to where your girlfriend’s box is and you do that, that means it’s a lot,” Hoda opined.
Jenna agreed that the move pointed to a “serious” relationship.
Jenna, 42, and Hoda, 59, played footage from Sunday’s Chiefs vs Buffalo Bills playoff battle, highlighting Kelce’s end zone celebration. The tight end formed a heart with his hands and blew a kiss to his superstar girlfriend, who was celebrating in a VIP suite.
“That’s her [Swift’s] sign! She does it all the time,” Hoda pointed out. “She’s always doing it, so now he’s doing it!”
Jenna fawned over the amorous signal, noting how the NFL star looked both tough on the field but also sweet during the public display.
“Oh my gosh, he did get that from her! That’s a perfect heart by the way, a lot of hearts don’t look that good,” Hoda added. “She loves cheering for him in the stands, because I think she’s so used to being on the stage and now she’s like all of us in the stands cheering, screaming, rooting.”
The 34-year-old songstress, who has cheered on her new boyfriend during several of his games this season, was seen alongside the athlete’s parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, and his brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Kylie Kelce, during Sunday’s high stakes contest.
The “Lover” singer was spotted interacting with Kylie throughout the game. The pair was happily photographed together after the Chiefs 27-24 victory over the Bills.
Jason Kelce stole the spotlight when he ripped off his shirt in the frigid temperatures before jumping into the stands to celebrate one of his brother’s big plays. After the game, Travis Kelce joined several other Chiefs players to celebrate the big win with champagne and beer alongside friends and family members in the VIP suite.
