Dr. Nicole Martin Shuts Down Annemarie Wiley In EPIC Clap Back!

Dr. Nicole Martin fired back after Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newcomer, Annemarie Wiley, accused the Real Housewives of Miami star of “clout chasing.”

Annemarie pointed out that co-star, Sutton Stracke, was drinking alcohol while taking medication, Gabapentin, during a recent RHOBH episode. The nurse anesthetist also spoke to Sutton about her medical issue, which involved a “narrowing of the esophagus.” Annemarie advised her cast mate to chew her food more thoroughly, but her pro tip did not sit well with Sutton.

Sutton asked — “Why am I having a doctor’s appointment right now?”

Real Housewives of Miami anesthesiologist, Dr. Nicole Martin, took to Instagram to share her opinion on the matter, after many fans slammed the Bravo rookie for crossing a personal boundary.

Nicole said in a posted video — “It does not matter where you fall on the spectrum — all the way from being a tech to being a doctor. You joined the profession to be an advocate for patients, and as such, it is not our place to belittle, question, or demean a patient’s symptoms or diagnosis.”

The Bravo star added — “We are there to facilitate and help the patient through the medical process, and it was just very uncomfortable and cringey to watch Annemarie belittle Sutton’s symptoms in such a way.”

Nicole, 38, captioned her filmed remarks — “Let’s not do this #gaslighting,” and went on to explain the concept of “medical gaslighting.”

Annemarie, 40, later spoke about the incident on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast. She said, in part, that she was “really very hurt by Dr. Nicole doing that.” The reality star added that “she knows my training, she knows my skillset, she knows my knowledge base.”

She went on to suggest that Nicole’s actions were a ploy to gain popularity with the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” audience.

“It was really, unfortunately, about trying to capitalize off of the ‘Beverly Hills’ show and I guess this is what the kids call clout-chasing, right? You’re just trying to capitalize on the moment for likes and whatever it is,” Annemarie said.

A fan asked Nicole to respond to Annemarie’s claims during her recent appearance on “Watch What Happens Live.”

The RHOM star said — “So, I received countless messages [and] tweets about this, which was really the only reason I chose to respond.”

She continued — “But, you know, I think to ‘chase clout’ implies that you’re going after a bigger fish, and Annemarie is in no way a bigger fish.”

Nicole added —“Not professionally, not medically, not educationally. So, I don’t think I was chasing any clout.”

The audience applauded her shady comeback, as did TikTok users after WWHL posted the clip on the platform.
