‘RHOSLC’ Star Monica Garcia Exposed In Private Text Messages Leaked By Her Mother!
Monica Garcia’s mother, Linda, hit back after seeing the Bravo star claim that she had prayed to land her own daughter’s spot on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast, during Part 2 of the reunion.
Monica Garcia, 40, told her cast mates and reunion host, Andy Cohen, that Linda hoped to be chosen if Monica was rejected, during Tuesday’s episode.
Linda took to X, formerly Twitter, to slam Monica as a liar, after the reunion episode aired.
“Everything Monica says about me is a lie or half-truth. I NEVER applied/auditioned,” Linda wrote on January 16. “Not [season four] or any other. I’m an award-winning journalist and TV producer. That was the TV job in NYC — News Journalist/Producer. I already had the job.”
Linda told her followers that “reality TV is not [her] cup of tea.”
Linda included a text message exchange she supposedly had with her daughter, in February 2023.
Linda wrote — “I know they don’t need me,” to which Monica replied — “Yes I do … I need you.”
Linda shared another message that appeared to back up her story regarding her reality TV ambitions.
“And I wanna be there for you!! [One hundred percent] … But I ain’t selling my soul!!” she wrote, adding a few emojis to press her point.
Monica told viewers that her mother left her behind as a child to pursue a career in television in New York. She also confirmed that they had not communicated since filming wrapped.
Monica used her own social media account to share supportive statements posted by fans and followers.
One fan labeled her the only genuine RHOSLC cast member, adding that she wasn’t “boring” like the other ladies.
The viewer said — “Not [Monica Garcia] carrying this [season and] reunion on her back. The only person honest in the cast who isn’t boring [as f*ck]. Legit paid $80 to download live TV on Fubo to watch her for these reunions. She is iconicccc.”
Earlier this month, fans cheered on the newbie after she was unmasked as a well-known internet troll, during the finale episode. Viewers took to social media to weigh in on the bombshell after watching Heather Gay confront Monica about her covert social media activity, during a cast trip to Bermuda.
Fan reaction was mixed, but many credited Monica for spicing up the season.
One fan pointed out — “So funny how Jen did 1,000% worse and none of them ever stood up to her but Monica has a troll account to TAKE down Jen and they go bat shit crazy on her?!?!! Monica, you carried this season!!! It was so boring before you, thank you!!”
Another wrote — “LEGEND!!!!!”
