Martell Holt Admitted His Relationship with Shereé Whitfield Was FAKE in Court Documents!
Melody Holt accused her ex-husband, Martell Holt of faking his past romance with Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Shereé Whitfield, during the Love and Marriage: Huntsville reunion.
Martell stormed off the stage after Melody claimed that he admitted in court documents that his relationship with Shereé was a “business arrangement.”
“I know what’s in the paperwork, the same way in the paperwork in the court case where you were asked if you were in a relationship with Shereé and you said it was a business arrangement, that’s in the paperwork too…verbatim,” she said.
Martell vowed to produce the pertinent documents as he stormed off set.
“Bring all the pages,” Melody called after her ex.
Shereé confirmed her relationship with the OWN star in July 2022. She told TMZ that she had met Martell “through a mutual friend” after All About The Tea shared cell phone footage that seemingly revealed the Atlanta designer hand-in-hand with Melody’s ex.
A source told TMZ at the time that Martell and Shereé had been seeing each other for more than two months. The outlet also obtained video footage of the couple posing for selfies on the beach.
Sheree’s co-star, Kandi Burruss, appeared skeptical right from the start, due to a previous experience with the LAMH star. Kandi explained that she had another reality star friend who went on a date with Martell, earlier that same year. Kandi said that her friend communicated with her about making a reservation at her restaurant, Blaze.
The singer/songwriter claimed that the family friend and Martell tried to pull off a publicity stunt when the pair arranged for paparazzi to photograph them together that night. Kandi noted that while the photos were only picked up by one small blog, the incident was hard to forget.
Kandi said at the time — “now that I see the similar situation,” adding that she wondered if Martell was being “genuine or is he doing the same thing” with Shereé.
Melody shared her own thoughts about her ex’s new relationship during a subsequent interview with The Shade Room. She shared that she had no feelings about Martell’s evolving love life.
Melody said — “To be honest with you, I don’t really have any feelings about it…I really don’t. I didn’t control if he was talking or dating somebody while he was in the marriage.”
She added — “I **** sure know I ain’t gon be able to control if he talking or dating somebody outside the marriage. I don’t feel anything, I really don’t.”
When asked to share her thoughts on Shereé, Melody said — “I don’t know anything negative about her so I don’t have anything negative to say. It doesn’t concern me for real.”
