‘Sister Wives’ Star Meri Brown’s New Boyfriend Revealed!

Sister Wives star Meri Brown has introduced her new boyfriend, Amos, on social media.

Meri Brown shared this news while celebrating her 53rd birthday, revealing that they have been dating since October 2023. She posted several photos on Instagram showing the couple enjoying their time together, marking a new chapter in her life.

The pictures depict the new couple smiling and posing, indicating the happiness and connection they share in their relationship. This update comes as a significant development in Meri’s personal life after suffering for years while married to Kody Brown.

“Birthday #53 is looking a bit different for me this year, and might I say, I like how it looks!” Meri wrote in the beginning of the long, joyful caption of the post. “Meet Amos, the good looking guy I’ve been dating since October! He’s not 6 foot 6, nor is he a pilot, but he loves Christmas almost as much as I do, and we laugh a lot together, both of which are important elements to a relationship!”

“Also, Zona absolutely loves him (be sure to swipe to see the cutest picture!),” she continued, referring to her sweet dog, who posed with a paw on Amos’ hand, in one of the photos. “I’ve been keeping this kind of close to me as we’ve been enjoying the last few months of dating and getting to know each other. As I’ve considered when and how I wanted to share this fun news and share him with the world (jk, not really sharing, I’m keeping him to myself 😉) I knew I wanted to celebrate my birthday in a special way and let you celebrate this with me!”

“I feel like I’m getting this year off to a great start, and I can’t wait to share more with you as the year moves forward!” she concluded before ending the caption with a bunch of hashtags, including “#WorthyUp,” “#HappyBirthdayToMe,” and “#Morein2024.”

Meri’s Instagram post introducing her new boyfriend, Amos, received a warm reception from her followers. Many expressed their happiness for her in the comments section, with several comments echoing sentiments like “I am so happy for you!”

Before Meri shared the news about her new relationship, she was in the spotlight for ending her long-standing plural marriage with Kody, whom she married in 1990. This significant turn in their relationship was highlighted in an episode of “Sister Wives,” aired on November 19, 2023, where Kody expressed that romance was no longer a possibility between them and mentioned deep-seated frustrations. Meri also shared her disappointment about unfulfilled promises in their relationship. The couple has a child, Leon, who publicly came out as transgender in 2022.

Meri and Kody’s relationship on Sister Wives was characterized by open discussions about their marital problems. Kody acknowledged that the end of their relationship was a long time coming, not just a sudden decision. He revealed in an interview that their breakup process actually began several years before they formally announced it. This gradual decline in their relationship was a significant aspect of their narrative on the show.

“We started a breakup seven years ago and have been going through just a process of trying to figure out what to do,” Kody told Us Weekly in October.

On January 10, 2023, Meri and Kody released a joint statement on social media announcing the end of their marriage. The statement highlighted their journey over more than a decade, working on their relationship in unique ways, and their decision to permanently terminate their marital relationship. They emphasized their commitment to kindness and respect toward each other and their family, focusing on healing and moving forward with forgiveness, grace, and love.

“After more than a decade of working on our relationship in our own unique ways, we have made the decision to permanently terminate our marriage relationship. During this process, we are committed to kindness and respect toward each other and to all members of our family, and we are also committed to the continued healing of any and all relationships within the family so that we can move forward with forgiveness, grace, and love,” their statement read.

As of April last year, Meri moved into her bed and breakfast located in Parowan, Utah.
