Tamra Judge Broke Up the “Tres Amigas” and Here’s the Reason Why!
Tamra Judge dished the backstory on her recent fallout with Vicki Gunvalson and Shannon Beador, after social media revealed a divide between the “Tres Amigas.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County star told Entertainment Tonight that things went sideways after she “backed out,” of the trio’s comedy tour, due to an overloaded schedule.
Tamra, who is set to appear on Season 2 of Peacock series, “The Traitors,” added that she had mixed feelings about going forward with the tour in the wake of Shannon’s DUI arrest.
“There’s some things I don’t want to talk about, because … we go into production [on season 18] next week and, obviously, it’s gonna be talked about,” the reality star told the outlet.
“I backed out of the Tres Amigas for some reasons that you probably will hear about on Orange County Housewives,” she said. “You know, it’s tough. It’s so twisted, and there’s so many layers to it, it’s hard for me to explain everything — but I didn’t do anything to either one of them.”
“After we did the Phoenix show, the agent called me and said, ‘Would you like to do another show?’ and I said, ‘You know what? I really, I can’t right now. I have too much, too many things on my plate, I can’t go on this tour with them,” she explained. “They had already known that, they know my schedule’s super busy.”
Tamra pointed to her multiple podcast gigs, two which she hosts alongside “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum, Teddi Mellencamp. She plans to launch a third with “Below Deck” alum, Kate Chastain, in the coming weeks.
Tamra added — “I just didn’t have a lot of time to go traveling, and I guess Vicki didn’t like that and now she’s calling me a traitor.”
She also shared that she wasn’t completely comfortable with continuing the party-themed performances.
“It’s difficult,” she said. “I think that people are gonna understand my concerns and, you know, as far as the Tres Amigas show, I felt like we should not have done it right after her DUI. I felt like she needed to concentrate on herself. … Conversations were had between us about it, and how I felt… and I don’t want to give too much away.”
Tamra explained that she also caught wind of “some things they had said about [her] behind [her] back” that rubbed her the wrong way.
“In 2024, I’m not going to be around toxic people that are, you know– if you’re my friend, be my friend,” she said. “If I’m doing something or saying something you don’t like, come to me and tell me. That’s what Teddi does with me. We hold each other accountable.”
“I don’t want friends that are stabbing me in the back and talking behind my back. So I wish them both all the success in the world, but until things change, you know, I don’t need to be a part of it.”
Tamra cut ties with Shannon about a year after reconciling with her friend while filming RHOC Season 17.
Vicki took the feud to social media, last week. Vicki, 61, and Shannon, 59, announced that they would be continuing their show as a duo, and hours later, Tamra revealed that she and Teddi were planning a few live tapings of their podcast, “Two Ts in a Pod.”
Vicki reacted badly after the theater date schedule hit the internet, according to Tamra.
“But let me just tell you, they knew I was doing that!” she insisted. “I told them months ago that I was doing it. It’s a one-time thing that was put on by iHeart. So it wasn’t to take [the ‘Tres Amigas’ show’s] place.”
