Carl Radke Ends Engagement to ‘Victim’ Lindsay Hubbard in Shocking ‘Summer House’ Trailer
Fans scored their first glimpse at Carl Radke breaking off his engagement with Lindsay Hubbard in the newly released Summer House Season 8 trailer.
Bravo dropped the highly anticipated sneak-peek on Thursday, giving viewers their first look inside the bombshell breakup. The trailer begins with audio of an argument before the footage jumps to the engaged couple hashing out their rocky relationship.
“You’re really gifted at playing victim,” Radke tells Hubbard.
Editors inserted various wedding-themed accessories, including Hubbard’s engagement ring and a white makeup bag printed with the word “bride.”
Hubbard, 37, then stands up before stomping into her bedroom, telling Radke, 38, there is “no more point to this conversation” because he has “made the decision clear.”
“I thought she would react a little differently,” Radke later admits to a member of the crew. “She’s gonna have to spin this and then tell everybody she’s blindsided.”
Hubbard is then featured calling her father to tell him that her fiancé wanted to “call off the wedding and break up.” She adds that she feels “blindsided” by his declaration.
Radke accuses Hubbard of “lying [about] the things that have gone on the last year.” The scene cuts after he claims to be “fine” with being the “bad guy.”
The preview then looks back to earlier in the summer, when things began to go south for the doomed bride and groom.
Hubbard hints that Radke’s sobriety becomes a sticking point between the two when she asks her future husband — “‘What are you on? What are you on?’”
Another clip reveals Radke screaming at his fiancée in bed — “You accused me of doing drugs!”
Radke later throws a soda can and yells at pal and co-star, Kyle Cooke, “I’ll f–king burn this house down!”
Meanwhile, Radke shares an open conversation about his wedding with his mother and stepfather, who appear to be against the nuptials.
“I’ve been a minister all my career, and I’ve married tons of people,” his stepdad says. “I wouldn’t marry you and Lindsay.”
Hubbard’s bridal shower and a wedding dress fitting are also featured in the preview, as the pair didn’t split until the end of the season.
Radke and Hubbard broke up in August 2023, a year after Bravo cameras captured their engagement.
Other Summer House relationships will be put to the test this season, including Cooke, 41, and his wife, Amanda Batula, and Paige DeSorbo and boyfriend, Craig Conover. The preview shows Cooke and Batula entrenched in an emotional spat and features a heated exchange between DeSorbo and Conover.
“You won’t compromise on anything!” DeSorbo yells at the “Southern Charm” star.
Sparks fly between Ciara Miller and rumored boyfriend, “Summer House” newbie, West Wilson. DeSorbo has to field flirty remarks from another sexy newcomer, Jesse Solomon.
Summer House Season 8 premieres February 22, at 9 pm ET, on Bravo.
