‘RHOSLC’ Monica Garcia and Her Mom’s NASTY Argument Leaked By Heather’s Hairdresser!
Monica Garcia’s identity on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City might have been fabricated, but her conflicts with her mother, Linda Darnell, were genuinely intense.
This was evident following the dramatic Season 4 finale, where a leaked video showcased a heated argument between Monica and Linda, recorded the day after Angie Katsanevas’ Greek Easter celebration.
In the video, Linda criticized Monica for not forming better relationships with the other housewives, namely Lisa Barlow, Meredith Marks, Heather Gay, and Whitney Rose. “The only thing that you did was unite those four a–holes, that’s the only thing that you did,” Linda said. She also pointed out Monica’s failure to get more screen time by not “playing nice” and reminded her to act like everything was fine.

Monica, 40, retaliated, accusing her mother of abandoning her during confrontations with the other women. “You’re a f–king mess, and you f–ked it up yesterday! You are insane, you looked like a crazy person just so you know,” she exclaimed. Monica also mentioned that she fell down the stairs at Angie’s home, which her mother dismissed as her own fault.
The argument escalated with Monica calling her mother “disgusting,” and “gross,” and demanding her to leave the house. Despite the heated exchange, the argument continued with Linda expressing her frustration at taking a day off to film and accused Monica of losing focus on their objective. Monica, in return, accused her mother of being unsympathetic and an awful mother, especially for not caring about her fall. Linda coldly replied that she didn’t care, criticizing Monica’s appearance.
Following the video leak, Monica claimed on social media that her ex-best friend and Heather’s stylist, Tanesha Luckett, was responsible for releasing it. She posted a screenshot of a conversation showing her sending the video to Tanesha and hinted at a “full blown takedown” by Tanesha.
In response, Tanesha denied leaking the video in her own Instagram Story, clarifying that her intention wasn’t to harm Monica but to defend her name against accusations regarding the Instagram troll account, Reality Von Tease. This account,
exposed by Heather in the Season 4 finale, was allegedly used by Monica to attack original cast members, including the now-imprisoned Jen Shah.
Monica admitted to being part of the group running Reality Von Tease, originally aimed at Jen, with other women being unintended targets. “The other women were just collateral damage,” Monica stated in a confessional.
The finale also confirmed Jen Shah as the cause of Heather’s black eye, an accusation the convicted felon has since denied.
The three-part reunion of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is set to air starting Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
