Andy Cohen GOES OFF on Scammer Jen Shah After She Accused Him of Retaliation 

Andy Cohen recently addressed comments made by Real Housewives of Salt Lake City jailbird, Jen Shah, regarding a declined one-on-one interview.

On his SiriusXM show, “Andy Cohen Live,” the Watch What Happens Live host responded to Jen Shah’s social media call-out after Heather Gay suggested that Jen was responsible for her black eye in the season 4 finale of the Bravo series.

Andy Cohen, 55, who recently fell victim to an unrelated online and phone scam, said, “As someone who was just the victim of an online and phone scam where I lost a lot of money, this message comes at an interesting time.” He clarified he wasn’t linking Jen to his scam but noted the irony, given Jen’s prison sentence for her involvement in a telemarketing scheme.

His co-host, John Hill, chimed in about the nature of Jen’s crime, calling it “hateful.” Cohen then discussed the black eye incident, stating that if there had been footage of Jen causing Heather’s injury, the network would have aired it. “I don’t want to be captain obvious here, but if we had footage, don’t you think we would’ve aired it?” he remarked.

Turning to Jen’s refusal to do a one-on-one interview, Cohen revealed, “I had forgotten about the one-on-one with Jen. She is right. I did want to do a one-on-one with her. I don’t care about it anymore. I’m over it.” He also shared that Shah’s demands for the interview were excessive, including a docuseries and a substantial amount of money, while still professing her innocence.

Jen, who is currently serving a 5.5-year sentence, responded to the black eye accusation on Instagram, writing, “BRAVO, if I punched Heather in her eye, you guys would have footage to prove it. It’s clear the show can’t live without me since I was brought up at the beginning, middle and end of season 4.” She added, “Andy [Cohen] is still butt hurt that I turned down his 1:1 interview. Why would you sit down with someone who ‘gave’ another cast member a black eye? Next story.”

Heather’s claim arose during a confrontation with RHOSLC newbie Monica Garcia over her alleged connection to the Instagram account Reality Von Tease. Heather expressed the group’s past difficulties with Jen, stating, “We are friends, and we have been through this b—s— before with Jen.” She revealed her defense of Jen on a book tour, despite Shah giving her a black eye.

The first part of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” reunion is scheduled to air on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
