‘RHOSLC’ Jailbird Jen Shah DENIES Heather Gay’s Claim That She Gave Her a Black Eye!

Jen Shah has reacted to Heather Gay’s accusation that the convicted felon was responsible for her black eye during Season three. Following the season 4 finale, where Heather, 49, pointed to Jen Shah, 50, as the person behind her mysterious injury, Jen took to Instagram to refute the allegation.

In her Instagram Story, Jen stated, “BRAVO, if I punched Heather in her eye, you guys would have footage to prove it. It’s clear the show can’t live without me since I was brought up at the beginning, middle and end of season 4.” Shah, currently serving a five-year sentence for her involvement in a telemarketing scheme, also mentioned, “Andy [Cohen] is still butt hurt that I turned down his 1:1 interview. Why would you sit down with someone who ‘gave’ another cast member a black eye? Next story.”

Heather’s revelation surfaced as she, along with Lisa Barlow, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, and new Housewife Monica Garcia, discussed Monica’s alleged connection to the Instagram account Reality Von Tease. Heather expressed her frustrations with Jen, noting that the group had previously overlooked doubts and inconsistencies with her. “I went on book tour and defended her and took s— for the fact that she gave me a black eye,” Heather disclosed.

Meredith Marks and Lisa Barlow were visibly surprised by Heather’s confession, with Meredith uttering, “What?” and Lisa gasping, “Woah.”

Heather, addressing Monica, said, “I had to ride hard for her [Jen] and I had to lie for her. We’re not going to do it again with you. Pack your bags and go.”

The origin of Heather’s black eye was a mystery during season 3. After a night out in San Diego with Jen and Meredith, Heather appeared with the bruise, but the circumstances were unclear as Bravo cameras weren’t filming. Heather had initially expressed confusion about the incident, saying, “I don’t know how this happened, I don’t recall,” and later to Rose, “I think we all know what happened, I just think we don’t want to talk about it.”

At the season’s reunion in January 2023, Heather maintained her uncertainty, stating, “I don’t know how I got the black eye. I blacked out. I don’t know what happened … I cannot speak to anything other than I walked to my room and I blacked out and I woke up with a black eye.”

Speculation had arisen about Jen’s involvement, given they were together that night, and Jen was the first person Heather called the next morning. Heather told Andy Cohen at the reunion that she trusted Jen the most and initially sought her help in creating a cover story while trying to understand what happened. She clarified, “If I knew Jen did that, I would cover it up, but that was not my intention. I was blacked out. Anything could’ve happened. I still don’t know how it happened.”

The first part of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion is set to air on Tuesday, Jan. 9, at 8 p.m. ET, on Bravo.
