’90 Day Fiance’ Star Michael Ilesanmi Officially Living in the U.S. with Wife Angela Deem
90 Day Fiancé star Michael Ilesanmi is rumored to have finally arrived in the U.S. to join his wife, Angela Deem, ending their six-year long-distance relationship. The couple, known from the TLC reality series was reportedly spotted in Georgia, with fans sharing photos online.
A fan of 90 Day Fiancé posted a photo on Reddit on December 25, showing Michael, 32, and Angela, 57, at a Walmart checkout. This photo, believed to be taken in Georgia, was initially thought by some to be an older image from one of Angela’s trips to Nigeria.
However, a detail-oriented user noted the Pepsi bottles in the background, featuring the brand’s new logo, which only began appearing this fall, suggesting the photo’s recentness.
There’s more evidence pointing to Michael’s presence in the U.S. On December 22, 90 Day Fiancé blogger Shabooty shared screenshots on X of a text conversation. A fan claimed they met Angela at a Food Lion store, and even took a photo with her, where Angela was pointing at the camera with her arm around the fan.
The fan mentioned that Angela said Michael was waiting in the car, and that Angela was wearing a ring, indicating that she and Michael were engaged. When asked if Michael was in the U.S. permanently, the fan replied, “Yea that’s what she said.”
Angela and Michael first appeared on season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days in 2018. They met online and their initial in-person meeting was documented on the show. They have been regulars in the franchise, featuring in multiple seasons of 90 Day Fiancé and 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?
The couple’s journey has been tumultuous, largely due to trust issues stemming from Michael’s infidelity. They married in Nigeria in January 2020, but faced more challenges when Michael was caught cheating again in 2022 through Instagram.
In the recent 90 Day: The Last Resort, filmed in January and aired from August to October, they tried to salvage their marriage at a therapy retreat. Despite ongoing trust issues and accusations of further cheating, Michael expressed remorse in a therapy session.
“I know I’ve faulted her, I’ve wronged her, but yet she still [finds] a place in her heart to forgive me and still be with me,” Michael said. “Baby, I love you so much, you know that. And I’m sorry for everything.”
Angela, who had contemplated divorce and even presented Michael with divorce papers, decided to give their relationship another chance after the retreat.
“I came here thinking that Michael had to do all the work,” Angela stated in a confessional. “But I need to work on not getting as angry as I do with my husband and working on our relationship at this couples’ retreat just saved us from divorce.”
