‘RHOSLC’ Fans Accuse Monica Garcia of Lying About Having Family In Bermuda After She Suffered A Panic Attack!

During their second day in Bermuda, the women of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City threw a birthday bash for Monica Garcia. However, the celebration took an unexpected turn when Monica received distressing news.

In a Housewives tradition, the cast embarks on at least one group trip during each season. This year, Monica and her castmate, Heather Gay, took the initiative to plan the trip. With Monica having family in Bermuda, she recommended the picturesque island of Pink Sands as their destination. During their stay, the ladies were meant to celebrate Monica’s birthday and meet her family, whom she had spoken highly of to her fellow housewives.

As the episode unfolded, Monica suddenly bursted into tears and hastily left the bus, seeking solace in a public bathroom. A concerned Lisa Barlow chased after her to understand the cause of Monica’s emotional outburst.

Amidst tears, Monica revealed to Lisa that her Bermudian relatives had abruptly canceled their planned meeting. She believed her mother was behind this sudden cancellation, leaving her feeling abandoned and without the support of her family.

Although the other women rallied around her during the episode, some viewers expressed skepticism about whether Monica genuinely had family in Bermuda.

Following the episode’s airing, fans of the show took to social media to accuse Monica of fabricating the existence of her family in Bermuda, the destination of the cast’s group trip.

Monica quickly came to her own defense, vehemently denying the allegations of having a false family in the tropical paradise.

Comments on social media included statements like, “Monica is lying and I bet she doesn’t have any family in Bermuda,” and “There was something about her reaction that looked dishonest to me.”

In response to these rumors, Monica took to her Instagram story to set the record straight. She stated, “Production spoke with my family in Bermuda” and added, “Communicated with them, met with them in Bermuda. Went to their homes and visited them. Signed stuff to film for my birthday and everything.” Monica emphasized that those claiming her family in Bermuda was a lie could continue to believe what they wished, as it would not change the truth.

She wrote, “Wow.” Waking up to the entire internet thinking I fabricated an entire family history is W I L D. I really am shocked that so many people believe I made up a family in Bermuda. I’m flattered that you think I’m such a good actress and that I’d be able to get away with something like that airing on national television. Like LD wouldn’t be the first one to take to social media and out my a** and say I was lying about having family in Bermuda. 😂 Insane. It sucks that I feel like I even have to post proof, but here you go. The same way I had to post baby and childhood pictures and my freaking genealogy records. The world chose violence today. Damn. Save it for a couple weeks”

Monica posted receipts of communication between her family and the RHOSLC production team. In the screenshots, details of the planned meeting and location of the meet up are discussed. Also, Monica confirmed that production met with her family members in Bermuda. She wrote, “Production spoke with my family in Bermuda.” She added, “Met with them in Bermuda. Went to their homes and visited with them.”

 

While Monica has made her stance clear on the issue, her fellow cast members have yet to publicly comment on their opinions regarding her family claims.
