Kyle Richards Jokes With Morgan Wade About Mauricio and Her Failing Marriage
Kyle Richards appears to enjoy the gossip surrounding her flailing marriage in the upcoming episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Kyle jokes around with rumored love interest, Morgan Wade, in a FaceTime call featured in a preview for Wednesday’s episode.
“I’m not looking forward to tonight at Sutton [Stracke]’s event,” Kyle tells her gal pal. “We had this huge fight the other night. She and Garcelle [Beauvais] kind of both thought that because I had this ring on [that] they’d never seen before, that Mau gave it to me because he cheated on me. [They thought] it was a makeup gift.”
The preview clip looks back at Sutton, 52, and Garcelle, 57, sharing their theories about their co-star’s new ring.
“All of these things kind of add up,” Sutton says.
Garcelle chimes in — “I thought it was a makeup band.”
Morgan calls the cast chatter about Kyle’s personal life “very interesting,” before Kyle references the necklace she’s wearing to Sutton’s party.
“I’m wearing this tonight. So, who knows what rumor this would start?” Kyle quips. “I mean, maybe [Mauricio] has a whole other family in another country. Maybe I do! Who knows?”
Later in the preview, Morgan asks Kyle what she’s wearing to Sutton’s event.
“I know you’re making fun of this,” Kyle says, referring to her robe. “It’s very cute, so leave me alone.”
“I’m not making fun of it, I was just curious,” Morgan replies.
Kyle and Morgan sparked romance rumors in the wake of the Bravo star’s separation from her husband of 27 years, Mauricio Umansky. The estranged couple confirmed reports of the split, in July.
Kyle tells cameras — “My relationship with Morgan is very different than my relationship with my other friends because she is constantly teasing me. I know that when Morgan and I hang out, I’m going to be roasted.”
Kyle’s sister, Kathy Hilton, 64, shared her thoughts on the pair’s close bond during a December 5 interview with “Extra.”
“Kyle really liked [Morgan/s] music, and hearing what she was going through, they clicked,” Kathy told the outlet. “Morgan is sober and Kyle decided not to drink anymore, so I think they have been a really good influence on each other and I think they are enjoying each other.”
Kyle revealed that things felt off in her marriage during an episode that aired in November.
“We’ve always been on the same page and in sync, and right now it just does not feel like we are in sync,” she explained in a personal interview. “It feels like lately that he has [been] consumed with The Agency and his work. He’s running this big company and opening all over the world. I think that he’s poured his heart and soul into The Agency, so, it’s the other woman.”
Kyle and Mauricio, who share three daughters together, denied that they were headed for divorce, only admitting that they had experienced “the most challenging year” of their marriage.
