The Family Chantel: Chantel Breaks Down After Confronting Pedro Over His Green Card Scam

Pedro Jimeno claims that he never cheated on Chantel Everett on the season finale episode of TLC series, “The Family Chantel.”

Chantel travels to the Dominican Republic to have it out with her ex-husband and his family in the aftermath of the pair’s divorce, on Monday’s finale episode. Pedro and Chantel get into an explosive argument over their failed marriage, as cameras rolled.

“If you want to believe I never loved you, okay, believe I never love you,” Pedro fumes at his ex. “If you want to believe that I’m using you, believe I [am] using you. But, even now to the end, you no believe nothing, that’s it.”

“You know what you did, Pedro,” she replies. “You know what you did.”

She adds as the argument heats up—“You know what you did, Pedro. F**k.”

Chantel tells cameras — “Oh my god, to cheat on me with people who I’ve been around, that is just so disrespectful and you can’t apologize for it? What kind of man are you?”

Pedro insists that he was never unfaithful, which prompts Chantel to storm away from the table and burst into tears. She informs the production crew that she doesn’t want to be filmed, as she continues to weep in the street.

Meanwhile, Chantel’s brother, River, asks his former brother-in-law—“Man to man, I say, how would you feel if that was your sister? You have nothing to say to me?”

Pedro flatly states — “Nothing to say.”

Chantel’s frustration boils over as she screams — “You were having sex with another woman!”

Chantel and River begin to walk away as Pedro says — “Chantel, I wish the best for you.”

The popular “90 Day Fiancé” alums met in person for the first time in Pedro’s native Dominican Republic, where they later got engaged. TLC cameras documented Pedro coming to the United States on a K1 visa, which allowed the couple 90 days to decide whether or not to tie the knot. Chantel and Pedro wed in 2017, amid family drama that eventually led to physical altercations.

The couple’s breakup exploded as the season wrapped last year. Cameras picked back up nine months after Pedro made the first move to end the marriage.

The duo separated in April 2022 and Pedro filed for divorce the following month, stating that their marriage was “irretrievably broken.” Chantel later cited adultery in her own filing and claimed that domestic violence had occurred.

The Family Chantel season finale airs Monday at 10 pm ET on TLC.
