Shannon Beador’s Ex John Janssen Called ‘Classless’ By Andy Cohen’s BFF!

Jeff Lewis shared an update on how his close friend, Shannon Beador, had been doing since news broke that her ex-boyfriend, John Janssen, was romantically involved with Alexis Bellino.

“I think she’s doing great. And I’m privy to all the personal information, and I think she’s doing really, really well,” Jeff said of the “Real Housewives of Orange County” star in remarks to Page Six. 

The 53-year-old interior designer shared that he was initially “very concerned” that Janssen and Bellino’s new relationship would “deeply” affect Shannon, at the Season 2 premiere of his series, “Hollywood Houselift.”

“I mean, thank God she’s done a lot of work over the last couple months on herself,” he said. “I think she’s healthier than I’ve ever seen her. I’ve never seen her look so good, but that’s taking care of herself, sleeping, not drinking, eating well, exercising, all of that — mental health, physical health.” 

Jeff teased that Shannon is ready to take on another season of the Bravo reality show, as Season 18 production begins next month. 

“She’s a lot stronger than everyone thinks. She’s amazing,” he gushed.

The SiriusXM host had less flattering things to say about Janssen. 

“I don’t like how he’s handled the breakup, and … I just think it’s a little classless –– him now dating another ‘Housewife.’ I was actually kind of surprised by that,” he said.

Jeff clarified that it was tough to “dislike” Janssen, as the businessman “was always very nice” to him. 

He quipped — “I think you can like someone and not like their behavior.”

Vicki Gunvalson, a RHOC alum and close pal of Shannon’s, told the outlet that she finds the budding romance between Janssen, 61, and Bellino, 46, “weird.”

“[Beador is] good. She’s gonna be better off. He’s not good for her. Too much drinking all night long. He needs to go where he needs to go, and she needs to go where she needs to go,” the Bravo OG said at the event. 

Vicki, 61, previously took aim at the new couple, via an Instagram comment, after Page Six reported that the duo was officially dating. 

“Ridiculous and thirsty on both of them,” Vicki wrote under the outlet’s post.

An insider dished that the two were “still getting to know each other,” while “enjoying” their time together. A previous report stated that Alexis and John were “quickly becoming friends” after meeting for the first time at a group dinner in November.

Shannon has yet to publicly comment on the situation, but a source previously claimed that she was “absolutely devastated” over Janssen’s decision to pursue Bellino.

“Shannon wasn’t even on the show with Alexis and has been nothing but kind to her,” the insider said. “Alexis is obviously desperate to get back on the show and is using Shannon to do it.”

Shannon and John dated for four years before parting ways, in November 2022.
