Kim Zolciak added some of her husband’s designer items to her online sell-off amid the estranged couple’s ongoing financial crisis. The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum took to her Instagram Story to list several of Kroy Biermann’s possessions, as the ex NFL player faced a lien filed by his divorce attorney, over unpaid legal bills.
Kim also offered her own shoes and bags priced from $650 to $6,750, including a Chanel bag priced at almost $7k, and a pair of “brand new” Gucci shoes for $1,250. She highlighted other designer footwear, including a couple of pairs of Kroy’s Christian Louboutin shoes, which were priced at $650.
Kim listed her wigs for thousands, including one blonde ombre lace front wig, priced at $2,250, and another offered at $2,750.
The couple’s on-again-off-again divorce has made headlines for months amid a string of domestic disputes that have involved police.
On December 4, Kroy’s lawyer, Marlys A. Bergstrom, filed a lien against the former Atlanta Falcons linebacker, for outstanding legal bills.
Court documents revealed that Bergstrom’s law firm, Stearns, Montgomery & Proctor, filed a Consent Attorney’s Lien for $801.01 against “all recoverable property” of Kroy’s “upon any judgments and decrees recoverable” in his divorce from the reality star.
Documents stated that the “unpaid amount of fees and services” included hours through November 15, “including any interest that may have accrued pursuant” to Kroy’s August 24 agreement with the law firm.
The filing stated that interest on the lien will “continue accruing” at the rate of one and a half percent on “all months due” until Stearns, Montgomery & Proctor is “paid in full for legal services performed and expenses incurred” on behalf of Kroy “in the above-styled matter as provided by law” and with Kroy’s “express written consent.”
“No person shall be at liberty to satisfy any judgment or decree in this action until the lien of the Firm is satisfied,” the docs stated, noting that the lien “attaches to all recoverable assets” including but not limited to Kroy’s “money” and “personal or real property,” including the Georgia mansion he shares with Kim.
Kim listed the property in October for $6 million.
Meanwhile, Kim’s friends have allegedly been distancing themselves amid the breakup drama, per a report by TMZ. The outlet claimed that Kim’s pals are embarrassed about how she’s navigated the split, and concerned over how the domestic chaos had impacted the pair’s minor children, Kroy “KJ” Jr., 12, Kash, 11, and twins Kaia and Kane, 9.
Last month, one of the couple’s children called the cops after an argument over money exploded.
TMZ added that while Kim appears to be enjoying the marital turmoil, Kroy doesn’t like the headline-grabbing drama. The outlet also alleged that the duo had been trying to land a new reality series, without success.
