Warrant Issued For Mary Cosby’s Son – Tested Positive for Cocaine and Fentanyl

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of the son of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star, Mary Cosby, due to Robert Cosby Jr. skipping a court hearing related to his March 2022 DUI arrest.

Court documents obtained by The U.S. Sun confirmed that the court issued the arrest warrant on November 21, after the 21-year-old skipped a scheduled court appearance on November 20. A judge ordered “any Peace Officer in the State of Utah” to “arrest and deliver the defendant to the Salt Lake County Jail.”

Robert must appear in court on the earliest available date, following his arrest. His bail has already been set at $2500 and must be paid in cash.

Robert’s attorney, Clayton Simms, told the outlet — “Robert has accepted responsibility for the mistakes he’s made in the past. He embraces all of the requirements of his probation and plans to successfully complete probation.”

Robert lives with his mother in the Utah mansion featured on the Bravo series.

Robert recently served a 30-day home confinement stint after failing to complete his first term. The reality star’s only child’s initial house arrest was ordered from April 20 to May 21, 2023. Robert was caught by police during that time window after a resident from a nearby apartment building called 911 to report an attempted break-in. Robert, who was wearing his ankle monitor, was caught as he purportedly jumped off a third story balcony, but was only charged with falsifying his identity to police. The case was since been dropped.

Robert left his home nearly 50 times during his period of confinement, according to the summary report of his house arrest. It was determined that he didn’t complete the 30 day stretch because he was “not able to provide sufficient proof to validate any unauthorized leaves.” Robert was not allowed to leave his home except to go to work, to seek treatment or to be tested. He successfully completed his second house arrest from October 24 to November 22, 2023, and “remained compliant with the terms and conditions of the SCRAM In-Home Confinement Monitoring Program,” the device that monitors alcohol consumption every half hour.

Robert was found non-compliant prior to his most recent home confinement. The September 7, ACES (Assessment, Counseling, and Educational Services) report alleged that he was using cocaine, Fentanyl, marijuana and had submitted fake urine samples.

The outlet reported that Robert had tested positive for multiple medications,  including —Cotinine (substance of nicotine in tobacco), cough suppressant, Dextrorphan, Norfentanyl, Fentanyl, anti-anxiety drugs, Nordiazepam and Oxazepam, and sleep aid, Temazepam.

Last month, Robert was spotted on social media with his wife, Alexiana Cosby, flaunting various drugs that seemingly included marijuana, prescription codeine syrup and unidentified pills.

Mary previously stated that she didn’t typically keep track of the couple’s activities, because “we kind of have our own wings.” The Bravo star appeared shocked to learn that her son had tied the knot with his then-girlfriend, in August 2022.

Robert and Alexiana have both shared numerous special media posts highlighting various drugs. Robert has posted dozens of images and videos of himself alongside codeine prescription bottles, promethazine hydrochloride cough syrup and/or bottles and cups of a “purple drink,” which is reportedly mixed with various clear soft drinks. The recently posted  photos were seemingly snapped inside Mary’s home.
