EXCLUSIVE: Wendy Osefo Caught Manipulating Texts with Nneka Ihim’s Cousin-In-Law!
Wendy Osefo has been caught painting a malicious narrative against her Real Housewives of Potomac co-star, Nneka Ihim, and All About The Tea has obtained exclusive proof.
In the December 3 episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, newcomer Nneka Ihim and Wendy Osefo engaged in heated exchange. Nneka, an attorney, accused the professor-turned-Housewife, Wendy, and her mother of making defamatory claims against her. In addition, Nneka accused Wendy’s mother of casting voodoo spells and submitting her name to shrines.
Additionally, in the same episode, Wendy Osefo claimed that she was not friends with Lebe Iwu, who is Nneka Ihim’s family-in-law. However, this denial was swiftly contradicted when the show’s producers aired a clip from Wendy’s daughter’s Sip & See. In the footage, Wendy is seen praising Lebe with high regard and expressing her desire for her daughter to grow up and emulate Lebe.
After the episode aired, Wendy took to Twitter to offer clarification after she appeared to be of lying about knowing Lebe. Wendy also claimed that Nneka tried to meet up with her before the start of Season 8 filming season.
“Sigh … I have really been minding my business this season [and] not reacting/tweeting about #RHOP. But this narrative is getting malicious… You say you don’t know me, but a year [and] a half ago BEFORE we started filming you kept pressing Lebe to ask me to have dinner with you,” Wendy wrote on Twitter.
Wendy included a screenshot of March 2022 text messages she received from Lebe.
One of Lebe’s messages read — “How does your schedule look? I’d love to get together for brunch or dinner. My in-law just moved here from LA and Bravo’s production team has approached her about coming on to a show.”
Wendy went on to state that Lebe and her sister had experienced a falling out.
“And yes, my sister and your cousin in law did have a falling out. One of the MANY reasons being Lebe Iwu was name dropping me calling me her ‘cousin’ to get a BBL! The whole squad is full of clout chasers,” Wendy wrote.
All About The Tea exclusively obtained the text messages mentioned above — revealing that parts of the exchange were omitted, leading to a skewed, one-sided portrayal of the situation. Below is the full text exchange,.
In previously unseen footage, Nneka countered Wendy’s suggestion that she only knew of Lebe through her sister. The clip featured the newcomer calling out Wendy for announcing Lebe during her daughter’s Sip and See event.
A fan pointed out that Wendy’s sister’s relationship with Lebe only solidified the claim that Wendy knew her.
“But Wendy this is just further proving you knew this lady,” the person wrote.
“Babe I never said I did not know Lebe. I said I did not know how old she was when I was asked,” she said, adding — “Rewatch the clip.”
