‘RHOBH’ RECAP: Kyle Richards’ Side Chick Makes Her Debut and Kyle Continues to GASLIGHT Mauricio!

Welcome to an exciting episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. First up, we see Dorit Kemsley and Crystal Minkoff arriving to visit Kyle Richards. Kyle’s complaining of clutter as she fixes the ladies a cup of tea, while discussing spending habits. Dorit Kemsley’s business manager tells Dorit to stop shopping all the time, but Dorit doesn’t listen to anything but herself. Crystal asks Dorit about her conversation with Garcelle Beaauvais and Dorit admits it felt good to apologize to Garcelle for hurting her feelings. Kyle switches topics to Sutton Stracke and how Sutton believes Erika Jayne set her up in Vegas to be embarrassed. Crystal and Dorit agree it was a coincidence and now Kyle wants to bite Sutton’s head off. 

Dorit understands what Kyle’s saying and begins impersonating Sutton while insinuating that Sutton has a drinking problem. In her confessional, Crystal shades Dorit for her drink of choice and admits that her gauge is off when it comes to those who are lit. Crystal doesn’t see the big deal with Sutton’s drinking, and when Kyle mentions that Crystal’s used to Sutton’s behavior; and that vodka makes people “mean” Crystal begins to vent in her confessional. “Just because Kyle stopped drinking yesterday, doesn’t mean that suddenly you get to have all these judgments about someone who drinks” Crystal says while making it clear that Kyle’s newly sober. 

Crystal thinks Kyle’s jealous that Sutton can hold her liquor and Kyle tells Dorit and Crystal that she does want to resolve things with Sutton. Kyle believes Sutton’s worth it to make amends and Crystal wonders if there’s a safe space they can talk. Kyle jokes about talking to Sutton before 10AM and Crystal calls Dorit and Kyle “terrible” as they laugh on. Later, Sutton meets Garcelle for dinner and the two order drinks before getting down to business. Sutton orders a drink on the rocks, and we find out Garcelle overindulged the night before. Garcelle notices Sutton eating meat again and soon the ladies are discussing Garcelle’s movie premiere. 

Sutton was smitten by Garcelle’s handsome friends, but the real tea Garcelle wants to know is what’s going on between Sutton and Erika. Garcelle admits it was strange that the elevator doors opened right when they were about to board, but there’s no proof that Erika set anything up. Sutton admits she told Kyle the same thing and that she got upset that Kyle defended Erika and now Sutton believes Kyle likes to insert herself in Sutton’s business. Last night, Sutton reveals Kyle hurt her feelings and Garcelle believes Sutton may have hit a nerve with Kyle. Sutton tells Garcelle that she noticed Kyle’s new wedding band and wondered what that’s about. 

In her confessional, Garcelle questions how Sutton can notice those details but then admits she noticed Dorit still had her jewelry after the break-in. Shady! Garcelle thinks Kyle’s ring could be a “make-up” gift and questions Sutton why the new ring sparked curiosity. Sutton tells producers that she believes someone cheated within Kyle’s marriage and brings up all the rumors in the blogs. Sutton says she cares about Kyle and Garcelle encourages Sutton to be honest and clear the air with Kyle. Fingers crossed!

Later, Erika visits her manager Alexis to talk strategy about getting Erika back on stage. A flashback shows Erika’s ex-publicist leaking information to the press and his untimely firing from Erika’s camp. 

Alexis discusses how Erika was on fire when she began performing but Tom Girardi’s indictment has put Erika’s career on ice. Erika wants to work and get back out there but notices that the offers aren’t coming in. Alexis tells Erika to take accountability for her part and Erika admits she has come back with a better sense of self. A flashback shows Erika’s apology to the ladies during the first episode, but do we really believe this villain has turned nice? Erika wants to entertain again, and Alexis promises to make calls to see if anyone’s interested. 

That night, Garcelle’s riding with her son Jax to dinner while almost choking on her water in the car. Once at the restaurant, Garcelle and Jax discuss the onlookers checking them out and soon order food for the table. Garcelle tells Jax at her age she wasn’t able to talk to her parents the way her twins talk to her but that she’s grateful for their dynamic. Garcelle tells Jax he hurt her feelings on the beach and asks if Jax blamed Garcelle for not keeping the family together. Jax admits he knows his father is to blame for their family separated and that he looked up Garcelle’s divorce when he was eight years old. Garcelle’s shocked but Jax doesn’t hold back that he knows more than his mama gives him credit for. 

Garcelle becomes emotional as she listens to Jax tell her that he never blamed her for anything. Garcelle wanted to shield her boys but now realizes that she needs to begin seeing them for the smart individuals they are. Garcelle tells Jax she’s proud of him and that he’s helping her grow as a person. The two share “I love you” as Garcelle jokes that Jax will pick up the bill. The next day, Kyle’s at a tattoo shop to meet with her alleged lover Morgan Wade to get some new ink. While discussing her options with the tattoo artist, I can’t tell if Kyle and Morgan are flirting or not. Morgan’s smiling at Kyle while Kyle’s laughing at things that aren’t funny. Morgan tells Kyle about a fan that thought Kyle is morphing into Morgan, but Morgan could care less. 

Morgan thinks the fans will believe Kyle’s experiencing a mid-life crisis and Kyle hits Morgan in the shoulder by saying “Thanks.” Kyle admits that her friends are confused by their friendship and admits she stalked Morgan on Instagram (because of Morgan’s music) and somehow the two began friends. Kyle tells us how much she admires Morgan because she has a “carefree” attitude, whereas Kyle has a stick up her butt about any and everything being perfect. I can see why the two attract. Kyle tells Morgan about her upcoming THC/CBD dinner party and Morgan thinks it’s weird. Although Kyle’s not drinking, she’s still indulging in the devil’s lettuce because she doesn’t want to get on her friends nerves.

Morgan tells Kyle she shouldn’t have to feel pressured to do anything and how she lost a lot of friends when she became sober. Morgan tells Kyle to go with the flow and don’t make a big deal of it as the two head off to get Kyle’s newest ink. As Kyle’s on the table, she holds Morgan’s hand for support and the two talk about nothing as Kyle laughs on the table. Kyle loves the finishing product and Morgan takes a picture as Kyle scurries home to Mauricio Umansky. Once inside, Kyle greets Mauricio as he works on his computer with an awkward energy. The two make small talk about Mauricio’s new book and Kyle accidentally tells him she hasn’t finished reading it. Kyle has no excuse for her slack but changes topics by showing Mauricio her new tattoo. 

Mauricio isn’t happy and wonders what Kyle’s doing. As Kyle reassures Mauricio that the tattoo is small, he wonders if she tatted his name on her but of course that’s not the case. Kyle shows off her tiny tat and Mauricio hopes he can see the tattoo up close in person. Kyle says he’s seeing the tattoo now, but we know that’s not what he means! Later, Sutton’s assistant is setting food out as Alessandra comes by to match Sutton with a man. Sutton invited Dorit to come help on her quest to find a new man and wonders how Dorit could assist her. Dorit walks in Sutton’s house and gets right into action helping Sutton pick out a potential mate. In her confessional, Sutton shades Dorit by saying if she could find PK, then maybe Sutton should stop being so picky. 

Alessandra has picked three men for Sutton but before they take a look, Dorit wants to know Alessandra’s opinion on Sutton. Alessandra thinks Sutton was resistant to change and Dorit thinks Sutton’s biggest downfall is Sutton’s not self-aware. Sutton doesn’t like that but stays calm as Avi brings beverages while Dorit tells Sutton to be more confident. Dorit and Sutton check out the first option and Sutton zooms in on their pants. Sutton passes on the second option and Alessandra wants Sutton to stop judging the men based on what they wear. A flashback shows Sutton wearing a kitten sweater on her first date, so she can’t say anything about people’s wardrobe. Dorit and Sutton joke back and forth before Sutton ultimately picks a date with bachelor number one. Alessandra encourages Sutton to get out of her head and body, while possibly giving him a hug. 

It’s the day of Kyle’s dinner party and as she’s getting ready, she’s chatting with her girlfriend Morgan on the phone. Morgan got another tattoo yesterday as well and we get a flashback of Kyle drawing a “K” on Morgan’s arm. After wishing her boo a good show, Kyle hangs up as we see Crystal get ready with her kids. Garcelle’s glam team is getting her together as Garcelle pokes fun at Dorit’s poses. Meanwhile, the chef is cooking up a storm in Kyle’s kitchen and Kyle mentions feeling pressured to drink but being happy with her THC. Faye Resnick and Justin arrive first as Kyle’s creating seating arrangements. As Kyle greets her friends, we’re finally introduced to newbie Annamarie Wiley. Annamarie and Kyle make small talk as the rest of the guest begin gathering inside. 

Kyle asks Annamarie how much she exercises and to Kyle’s relief, Annamarie admits she works out 6-7 days a week. Kyle asks Annamarie to have her back with Sutton since Sutton has a problem with Kyle’s new exercise regimen. Faye says “It’s funny that the person whose the healthiest is getting attacked” right as Sutton and Cynthia Bailey make their entrance. The room is quiet, but Kyle plays it off as Annamarie greets Sutton and Cynthia. Erika arrives in great spirits as she hugs Sutton as Kyle gives Annamarie the update on Sutton’s judgements. Crystal arrives and tells us that Annamarie talks a lot and is nosey, as Garcelle and Dorit join the party. Kyle finds out Camille Grammer and Denise Richards is coming, and they burst out laughing as we get a flashback to The Dinner Party From Hell.

Camille and Denise pull up together looking a bit inebriated as they slowly make their way inside. Faye’s already mean-mugging Camille and Garcelle says “Oh” in surprise as Denise catches it. Garcelle’s happy to see her friend but is surprised Camille and Faye are in the same room. Denise greets the ladies but claims she won’t eat any of the weed food and neither will Garcelle. Dorit asks Sutton if she’s talked to Kyle, but Sutton needs liquid courage to assist. Sutton talks Kyle to chat on the side as the rest of the ladies head in to get seated. Camille and Faye share a fake hug and Camille notices Faye’s sitting right across from her. Faye immediately tells Justin to switch her seat and both ladies are relieved. 

Sutton tells Kyle that she knows the conversation between them got heated and Sutton admits she had a meeting with her ex-husband recently that didn’t go well. Apparently Sutton’s ex is moving to London and wants Sutton and their son to go with them. Kyle ensures Sutton that he can’t make her do anything, but Sutton becomes emotional as she considers if her son would go. Sutton apologized for overreacting and realizing she’ll have her son full-time, while going back to court to increase her child support. Kyle doesn’t understand the connection and wonders what Sutton’s problem was at home. Kyle unintentionally brushes Sutton off, and Sutton almost loses it because Kyle’s not being empathetic to her. 

Kyle tries to backpedal but as Sutton gets rowdy, Kyle asks Sutton if she’s that out of touch. At the table, they’re discussing the cute chef as Sutton tells Kyle that she’s upset her ex-husband is leaving the country; while Kyle tells Sutton that she makes excuses. Denise is at the table slurring her words as Sutton tells Kyle she’s not the friends she knows. Crystal comes to gather the two but end up walking into the middle of their drama, as Sutton urges Kyle to be honest. 

Kyle tells Sutton she’s being weird and doesn’t know if the medicine for her feet is making Sutton act strange. As Sutton walks away, Kyle screams “If you got something to say Sutton, just f***ing say it” and Crysal says, “There’s more to say?” catching exactly what Kyle’s implying. Kyle pretends the argument is one sided as she attempts to make her way back to her guest. Crystal feels Sutton and Kyle are doing the same thing to each other and while Erika wonders where the hostess is, Sutton answers, “In denial about something” and the table is shook! Once Kyle sits down, Garcelle checks in on her as the rest of the table continue mingling. Chef Chris finally comes out and explains what’s in store as Kyle and Dorit talk silently across the table. 

Kyle tells Dorit she’s not okay while calling Sutton a b*** as the chef measures out everyone’s dosage. Garcelle doesn’t want to participate, and Erika wants to get real high as the ladies begin getting their high on. These ladies are weak sauce only getting 5mg but before anyone can get high, Crystal offers to clear the air. Kyle tells the table that she didn’t appreciate Sutton threatening her and asks Sutton what she’d like her to be honest about. Kyle tells Sutton to have the balls to say it and Sutton tells Kyle she shared something personal, only for Kyle to make fun of her for it. Kyle denies making fun of Sutton and brings up Sutton’s excuses in Vegas, but Sutton calls out Kyle’s deflection.

Sutton mentions she’s being honest and real but Kyle’s not doing the same. Kyle and Sutton go back and forth and Sutton calls Kyle “perfect,” while asking Kyle if there’s anything going on with her lifestyle change. Kyle asks, “What are you trying to insinuate?” and reveals to the table that Sutton doesn’t eat! I’m so confused but it looks like the gloves are about to come off! Annamarie doesn’t understand what’s going on and encourages the friends to say something and move on. Sutton asks Kyle if there’s something going on in her personal life and Annamarie says, “Like what?” as Garcelle responds, “Her marriage.” OMG! Erika says “Really?!” and Garcelle says “Yes” while asking about Kyle’s new wedding band! 

The table is shocked and surprised to learn about Kyle’s new wedding band, but Erika comes to Kyle’s defense by saying “Oh, I didn’t wear my ring for years” as Garcelle clarifies what a make-up gift is, while mentioning she has a diamond cross. The table burst into laughter as Erika wonders if the necklace burst into flames as Camille admits she used to get cars. Kyle mentions she bought the ring herself as Faye says Sutton’s questioning is inappropriate. Camille and Denise laugh in the corner as Kyle comments on how strange it is to asks about her jewelry. 

Kyle asks Garcelle were she got her necklace to prove a point, but Garcelle simply answers “Zara,” as Erika sits back and enjoys the show. Kyle continues saying she bought the ring herself and turns to Annamarie for backup before turning back and screaming “So you’re saying my husband cheated on me!?!” No one says a word until Annamarie comments that Kyle can’t get jewelry or get fit, as Kyle reiterates this hasn’t been the best year for her marriage. Kyle thinks Sutton threw a low-blow and asks her if she wanted Mauricio to have cheated on her. Kyle continues saying the same thing, but Garcelle wants to know if everything’s good in her marriage. Sutton tells Kyle she’s consent with her answer as Faye tries to stick up for Kyle as Kyle loses it and says drinking causes her to feel depressed and she can’t afford to be depressed right now.
