Scammer Claims She Was Hired By Gizelle Bryant to LIE About Being Chris Bassett’s Mistress!
The alleged mistress of Candiace Dillard’s husband Chris Bassett has come forward, revealing a twisted tale of deception and admitting that she fabricated the whole affair.
In a shocking twist, Gizelle Bryant has been implicated in the cheating scandal surrounding the husband of Real Housewives of Potomac co-star, Candiace Dillard.
In October, rumors began to circulate that Chris Bassett had engaged in a months-long affair with a woman named Ayanna Williams. Youtube blogger, Tasha K reported that a woman named, Ayanna, had nude photographs of a man who appeared to be Chris. Ayanna also claimed that she’d had an abortion and had supposedly produced paperwork tied to the procedure with Chris’ signature.
Meanwhile, fans who were digging into the story discovered that Chris followed Ayanna on Instagram and “liked” many of her posts.
Gizelle and co-star, Robyn Dixon, discussed the situation on their podcast, “Reasonably Shady,” and agreed that the woman’s story sounded “believable.” Gizelle noted that Candiace should’ve listened to her when she shared that her husband had made her uncomfortable, the previous season.
Gizelle pushed her point when she accused Chris of flirting with a friend of Ashley Darby’s during a filmed event. Ashley also called out Candiace’s hubby for sending her a questionable, late-night DM.
Chris vehemently denied any wrongdoing.
Gizelle apologized to Candiace for painting Chris as a likely cheater during the reunion taping, but her cast mate never accepted it.
Candiace claimed that Gizelle had intentionally crafted a narrative about Chris that was “completely false, damaging and hurtful” in a January interview with Page Six.
The “Drive Back” singer alleged that many viewers weren’t buying Gizelle’s narrative, telling the outlet — “We were blown away at the number of messages and comments of people that were calling BS and saying that they didn’t believe it. But there’s always that 0.5 percent that says, “Oh, he did it,” or whatever they say.”
She added — “There are headlines that will live on the internet that insinuate that my husband is a predator, and you can’t undo that. And that’s why it’s so damaging for people to be able to make things up. It’s hurtful, and he was very hurt by it.”
Ayanna shocked her social media followers when she backtracked over Thanksgiving weekend, writing on her Instagram Story, — “I LIED. I NEVER MET CHRIS BASSETT. I NEVER TALKED TO HIM. I MADE THE WHOLE THING UP. IM [sic] SORRY THAT MY ACTIONS HURT PEOPLE.”
Candiace suggested that Gizelle was behind the hit job immediately after Ayanna confessed that her allegations were a lie.
Ayanna claimed that Gizelle was behind the scheme when she was asked point-blank if the reality star was involved.
Ayanna replied — “She did put me up to it. That’s all I can say for now.”
Gizelle has yet to respond to the allegations.
