Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s Foreclosure STOPPED – Kids Get 45 More Days for a Merry Christmas at Home!
Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak have been granted a 45-day reprieve on the foreclosure of their home by a Georgia judge, resulting in the postponement of their foreclosure date to after the holidays.
Court documents obtained by the Instagram account thegoodthebadandthefake6 reveal that on November 27, Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak were granted a 45-day extension on their home’s foreclosure. This extension ensures that the couple’s four minor children will have a secure roof over their heads during the Christmas holiday.
The documents read, “Pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 9-11-6(b), it is hereby stipulated and agreed by and between Petitioners Kroy Bicmann and Kimberleigh Biermann and Respogdent Trust Bank (“Truis”) Truist’s deadline to answer, plead, move or otherwise respond to Petitioners’ Complaint for and including January 11, 2024.”
The couple’s home was scheduled for auction on November 7, 2023, on the courthouse steps. In response, Kim and Kropy urgently approached the court in October, pleading with the judge, stating, “If the foreclosure is allowed to proceed, however, Petitioners will suffer irreparable injury to the marital estate depleting in its entirety.”
In affidavits filed on Thursday, October 25, both stated the negative impact foreclosure would have on their family, as reported by documents. This development follows the couple’s decision to list their home for sale, a move coming after All About The Tea confirmed in February that the property was facing foreclosure.
Kim and Kroy first filed for divorce in May 2023, experienced a brief reconciliation two months later, but then parted ways again in August.
In September, Kroy expressed in court documents that he has “no desire to reconcile” with Kim, despite their post-split intimacy. He emphasized his determination to “leave [Zolciak-Biermann], leave the marital residence, with the children, and provide a home for them that is calm and stable; the opposite of their current environment.”
Kim and Kroy are drowning in major debt. They owe the IRS a considerable sum of approximately $1 million. Furthermore, the couple has been embroiled in legal issues related to unpaid bills, facing lawsuits over these debts.
Chase Bank has filed a lawsuit against Kroy for unpaid credit card debt, as confirmed by In Touch. The bank claims that the former NFL player owes a sum of $13,071.88, citing his failure to make necessary payments on an account. This information comes from court documents submitted on Monday, November 27.
The lawsuit, targeting 38-year-old Kroy, was initiated in the Superior Court of Fulton County in Georgia. The documentation from the bank includes Kroy’s credit card statement, indicating that the debt of $13,071.88, due by June 9, is now nearly six months overdue.
Amid their mounting financial issues, Kim is in debt for $250,000 to an acquaintance named “Kathy.”
Kim is also being sued by Saks/Capital One for neglecting to pay $150k in credit card debt and fees.
Additionally, Kroy had to return his $400,000 Rolls Royce, which he had been leasing since 2020, following a lawsuit by BMW. The car dealership claimed that Kroy ceased making payments on the vehicle, and a judge subsequently ruled in favor of BMW. Additionally, in June, Kroy faced a lawsuit for failing to repay a $52,000 line of credit he obtained for gambling in the Bahamas.
The situation at the Biermann residence is dire, it was revealed in court documents that their water and utilities have previously been shut-off.
Their Georgia home is currently listed for sale at $6 million. Recently, as part of their ongoing divorce proceedings, a court order mandated that Kim and Kroy maintain distance from each other. She’s been regulated to the maid quarters in the basement, while Kroy gets to reside in the master bedroom.
