Sister Wives: Kody Brown Wants to Cut Janelle Brown Completely Out of His Life!

Kody Brown wants to cut his second wife, Janelle Brown, out of his life following her decision to leave their plural marriage. The 54-year-old “Sister Wives” star admitted that he had no interest in maintaining a connection with Janelle in a preview for next week’s “Sister Wives: One on One Special.”

“I was thinking to myself, I don’t ever want to talk to Janelle again,” Kody declared to moderator, Sukanya Krishnan, in the sneak peek clip.  

Meanwhile, Kody’s last wife standing, Robyn Brown, implored in a later scene—“You have six kids, that’s worth fighting for.”

Kody also addressed his broken relationship with first wife, Meri Brown, informing Sukanya that he “told her I loved her and I chose to love her,” before their relationship fell apart. 

Janelle and Kody’s third ex-wife, Christine Brown, both pushed Kody to tell his side of the story behind their marital breakdowns as a “grown-ass man.” 

Kody responded to the shade, commenting — “They’re trash talking me because I’m guilty of not loving them.”

Kody has made it clear that his relationships with Meri, Janelle and Christine were over and done, but Robyn recently revealed that she still had hope that their family structure could be rebuilt. 

Earlier this month, Robyn told People that she hopes that the scattered group can come back together one day. 

“It looks a little different,” she said of the clan’s current dynamic. “I sure hope it’s possible, but I can’t have expectations. I can’t put expectations on people, I’m realizing more and more, as far as family and that connection and spending time together and stuff and operating kind of a family. So I hope and I pray that it’s possible, but that will be that a situation where everybody has to choose that. So I don’t know.”

Christine was the first to announce that she was splitting from the TLC patriarch, in November 2021. In December 2022, Janelle confirmed her separation from Kody on last season’s one-on-one special. 

“Kody and I have separated and I’m happy, really happy,” Janelle told Sukanya, at the time. “I don’t know, things just really became sort of indifferent, like I just didn’t care anymore.”

“I’ve kind of mourned that that part of our life is gone,” she added. “I wasn’t heartbroken. It wasn’t heartbreaking for me like it was for Christine. It was just kind of like, I just mourned that that life was gone…. We had this great run.”

Meri and Kody announced that they were officially cutting ties a month later. Fans know that the pair’s relationship had been estranged for nearly a decade.  

Kody and Janelle reunited in May to celebrate their daughter, Savannah’s high school graduation. The exes also share Logan, 29, Madison, 27, Hunter, 26, Garrison, 24, and Gabriel, 21.

Sister Wives airs Sundays, at 10 pm ET, on TLC.
