Where Olivia Flowers and Taylor Ann Green Stand After BravoCon 2023
Olivia Flowers updated viewers on her relationship with ex-bestie, Taylor Green, after dealing with the drama involving their Southern Charm co-star, Austen Kroll, at BravoCon, earlier this month.
When Us Weekly asked the 31-year-old reality star if her relationship with Taylor could be repaired, Olivia replied — “I don’t know. I mean this is BravoCon, I’m not talking to Taylor and Madison LeCroy is my good friend, so any — weirder things have happened.”
Fans know that Olivia and Taylor quickly bonded after joining the Bravo series for Season 8, but fell out after Olivia’s brief romance with Austen ended. Olivia announced the breakup in October 2022, during the Season 8 reunion, only months before rumors began to circulate that Austen had hooked up with Taylor ahead of filming Season 9.
Season 9, which premiered in September, has been following the the fallout in the wake of the rumors. Taylor and Austen initially denied that they had crossed any boundaries, but Taylor later revealed, during a one-on-one chat with Olivia, that the two had actually discussed a romantic relationship. Austen also fessed up to Taylor’s ex, Shep Rose, that he and Taylor had kissed.
Taylor and Olivia briefly made amends after Olivia’s brother’s death in January, but the reconciliation proved to be short-lived.
Olivia told the outlet that watching Season 9 play out ultimately changed her relationships with both Taylor and Austen. She noted that she’s “learned a lot” from what people say about her when she’s out of earshot.
“It’s eye-opening and I can’t help but get frustrated when I see the conversations that are had when I’m not around,” she explained.
She revealed that she’s not speaking to Taylor but it “depends on the day” with Austen.
She said — “I mean, he gets on my every last nerves, but I also enjoy his company, so it’s weird.”
Taylor told the same outlet that the issues she shares with Olivia had been “tabled” in light of their personal losses. She added that the duo will “revisit” their conflict during the Season 9 reunion. Taylor lost her own brother, Worth, in June.
Olivia remarked — “That’s the first accurate thing she’s said in a very long time,” when she was told that Taylor said their friendship wasn’t at “100 percent.”
Austen also addressed the drama, but noted that it was “tough” to comment on his co-stars’ feud because he was the person who provoked it.
“I know that I’m certainly Taylor Swift in this. ‘I’m the problem, it’s me,” he quipped, referencing Swift’s hit, “Anti Hero.”
He added — “I think that it upsets me because I knew how close they were. And let me just say, it’s not because [Taylor and I kissed], it’s because of the fallout and choosing to not be truthful in the moment.”
Austen admitted that it upsets him to think about Taylor and Olivia’s once “inseparable” relationship.
He said — “They were besties, man. They were like me and Craig [Conover].”
Southern Charm airs on Thursdays at 9 pm ET on Bravo.
