‘The Family Chantel’ Chantel Everett and Pedro Jimeno Sold Their Georgia Home For Huge Profit

The Family Chantel stars, Chantel Everett and Pedro Jimeno, have sold their Lawrenceville, Georgia home.

The divorced duo’s house sold for $417k in March. The five bedroom, three-and-a-half bath residence features high ceilings, an open floor plan and a large backyard.

Chantel and Pedro, who divorced in 2022, met face-to-face for the first time in months to discuss the joint sale of the property with a realtor, during the TLC show’s premiere.

“After not seeing him for nine months, he’s been out of sight and out of mind, but seeing him, was just a reminder of how badly I was treated,” Chantel, 32, told cameras. “The moment I sat down, I felt like I made a mistake to show up and grace someone with my presence, who had treated me so bad and evil.”

Pedro, a real estate agent, expressed frustration that he was not allowed to sell the house and save the $25k commission. The agent explained the benefit to hiring a neutral party to handle the sale before Chantel reminded her ex—“It was already discussed and decided upon when he signed our divorce documents, so that’s what we’re going to do.”

Pedro, 32, and Chantel signed their divorce papers prior to the filmed meeting. The pair agreed to split their assets and the profit from the sale of the property 50/50. Chantel’s mother, Karen Everett, disagreed with her daughter’s decision to cut a deal to avoid courtroom drama.

“I told her, no, do not settle. Take him to court,” Karen said in a joint confessional interview, alongside her daughter. “You should’ve taken that scammer to court because you should have gotten alimony and the house. How dare he come in and tell you, ‘I’m going to divorce and I want the house?’”

The contentious couple separated in April 2022. Pedro stated that their marriage was “irretrievably broken” when he filed for divorce the following month.

Pedro and Chantel were issued mutual restraining orders around the same time, which prevented them “from doing or attempting to do, or threatening to do, any act that injures, maltreats, vilifies, intimidates, molests or harasses the adverse party.”

Chantel later cited adultery in a counterclaim. She alleged that “domestic violence” had occurred, accusing her husband of “cruel treatment” that caused her “mental pain.” The registered nurse said in her petition that “the marriage is irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.”

The once-popular 90 Day Fiancé alums met in person for the first time and later got engaged in Pedro’s native Dominican Republic. TLC cameras chronicled Pedro’s arrival in the United States on a K1 visa, which allowed the couple 90 days to decide whether or not to tie the knot. Chantel and Pedro wed in 2017, amid lots of family drama.

TLC followed their love story on “90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After”  before the pair landed the spinoff series, “The Family Chantel,” in July 2019.

The Family Chantel airs on Mondays at 9 pm ET on TLC.
