‘Real Housewives of Dubai’ Chanel Ayan and Lesa Milan’s Friendship In Shambles Over Caroline Brooks!
Chanel Ayan gifted her co-star, Lesa Milan, a goat on the first season of the Real Housewives of Dubai, but it appears that there’s trouble brewing between the friends following production for Season 2.
Lesa hinted that she and Chanel hit a rough patch during a “Housewives In Every City” live interview at BravoCon 2023.
“Listen, I love Chanel Ayan,” Lesa said. “I’ll always love her. Just like most relationships, we’re going through something right now. But let’s see — time will tell if we’ll be back to being the dynamic duo.”
During the panel, Chanel hinted that her and Real Housewives of Dubai costar, Caroline Brooks, are the new dynamic duo and have grown quite close after Season one wrapped. This revelation visibly upset Lesa, who previously held that title before her friendship with Chanel hit some roadblocks.
Real Housewives of New York City star, Ubah Hassan, weighed in on the friendship during the live chat, adding — “I can second that: They do love each other very much.”
Ubah and Chanel, who are cousins, naturally spent time together at the Las Vegas fan event, during which Chanel advised the RHONY newbie to up her fashion game.
“We hung out yesterday and I didn’t bring any jewelry, and I didn’t have any gowns,” Ubah shared during the interview. “She texted me the night before and said, ‘Do not embarrass me.’ And I’m here without a gown. So basically I had a designer send me stuff at like 9 p.m.”
“She’s walking couture…but also anything she wears she looks really good,” the model said of her cousin, who also walks runways.
Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star, Lisa Barlow, chimed in to add — “You have good genes.”
Fans got their first look at the newest face on the RHODubai cast during the three day Bravo event. Taleen Marie joined returning stars Sara Al Madani, Chanel Ayan, Caroline Brooks, Lesa Milan and Caroline Stanbury for the show’s second season.
Taleen, a musician, has worked with such talents as Christina Aguilera and Sting, as the rookie noted during the premiere episode. She ultimately chose to move from her home base in Los Angeles to join her husband, David, in Dubai.
Chanel said that Season 2 will include, “Lots of betrayal, fun, sisterhood, and love.” Sara added— “This season was even more fun than the last one.”
Caroline Brooks agreed, teasing — “If you thought Season 1 was crazier, this is crazier.”
Nina Ali announced her exit from the series earlier this year.
“It was an honor to be a part of the debut season of The Real Housewives of Dubai, and to help Bravo bring this beloved franchise to the city I call home,” Ali wrote on Instagram. “I’m grateful to the network, Andy Cohen, and the team at Truly Original for welcoming me into this extended family and for embracing the diversity of riches Dubai has to offer.”
