Paris Hilton’s Newborn Trolled On Social Media … Over ‘Pumpkin’ Shaped Head, She Claps Back!!
Paris Hilton is hitting back after receiving negative comments about her baby boy’s appearance.
Paris took to TikTok on Friday to shut down negative commentary after the 42-year-old posted a photo with her son, 9-month-old, Phoenix Barron, to mark his first visit to New York City.
One TikTok user posted a video after collecting a series of unkind remarks about the little one’s ‘pumpkin’ shaped head, which prompted a response from the proud mom.
Paris addressed questions about her son’s head, commenting on her post — “🥺😢There are some sick people in this world.☹️My angel is perfectly healthy. And yes, of course he has been to a doctor, he just has a large brain.”
She captioned the cute mother/son pics,—“My precious angel baby Phoenix’s first time in NYC. ✨👱🏼♀️👶🏼🗽✨.”
Paris and her husband, Carter Reum, 42, quietly welcomed their first child together, via a surrogate, on January 16, 2023. The couple, who tied the knot in late 2021, did not announce their son’s birth for a week. Paris spilled the happy news eight days after the birth, sharing a close-up photo of her hand holding her newborn’s fingers, writing—”You are already loved beyond words 💙.”
Paris told People at the time that she and Carter were not the only ones caring for their baby boy, explaining that her parents, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum, Kathy Hilton and husband, Rick Hilton, were always ready to pitch in.
“[My parents] are just so obsessed with him,” Paris said. “I’m always calling my mom and my sister [Nicky Hilton] for advice, and I’m really lucky that I’m so close with my family, so I have such a big support group.”
Paris gushed over motherhood during an interview with Us Weekly, earlier this year.
She told the outlet in August— “I can’t wait till he can walk and talk. I can’t wait for all of the holidays — and the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus and being able to live my childhood again. I’m such a kid at heart, and I’m just so excited for all those moments and seeing the world through his eyes.”
She shared that Phoenix was already attending baby music classes and particularly loves the drums.
“His latest milestones are just adorable! And he just started eating solids and loves puree peaches,” she added. “My heart is so full, and my life feels so complete. Every moment with my baby is like pure magic!”
“When I look in his eyes, my heart melts. He’s so sweet and innocent and lights up my life in so many ways,” she added. “He is just my little angel. This has been the best time.”
She also told the outlet that she still “can’t wait” to give Phoenix a baby sister.
Paris revealed during a June episode of her podcast, “I Am Paris,” that she and her hubby hoped to add a girl to their family in the future.
