Taylor Swift Playfully Warns Travis Kelce with a Shania Twain Tee
Taylor Swift seemingly sent a flirty message to rumored love interest, Travis Kelce, on Tuesday when she stepped out in NYC rocking a vintage Daydreamer T-shirt stamped with the artwork and title of Shania Twain hit, “Any Man of Mine.” The tee retails for $88.
Twain describes her ideal catch in the 1995 smash single, a man who would treat her right, accept her flaws and embrace her quirks, among others.
The lyrics include, “I can be late for a date — that’s fine / But he’d better be on time” and, “When I cook him dinner and I burn it black / He’d better say, ‘Mmmm, I like it like that.’”
Swift appeared to give one of her musical role models a shout-out as she did on TikTok, in 2021. The pop superstar also invited Twain to her Eras tour, earlier this year.
Swift has dropped hints about her personal life in past fashion picks, and seemingly continues to do so as rumors swirl about her budding romance with the NFL star.
Last month, Swift wore a pricey Foundrae necklace that featured an opal, Kelce’s birthstone, amid early speculation that the pair was dating. The “Love Story” singer sported Kansas City Chiefs colors while supporting Kelce from an Arrowhead Stadium suite, in late September. She rocked a Chiefs windbreaker paired with red, black and white New Balance sneakers as she was photographed cheering on her new man. Swift and Kelce were seen together for the first time, as they left the game.
Swift’s sneakers are also favorites of celebs, Sofia Richie, Kaia Gerber, Storm Reid and Emily Ratajkowski. Last year, Adele was snapped in the low-tops while attending a Lakers game, during her boyfriend, Rich Paul’s collaboration with the company.
Kelce arrived at the same game wearing a denim ensemble from KidSuper Studios, which the brand dubbed the 1989 Bedroom Painting set to honor the singer’s upcoming “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” album.
The duo’s rumored romance seemingly began after Kelce tried to give Swift his phone number on a friendship bracelet at the Eras Tour in July.
