Kim Zolciak Tells Police Kroy Biermann Physically Abuses Her and He Doesn’t ‘Have a Job,’ Kroy Says He’s Unsafe Around the ‘RHOA’ Alum

Amid rising tensions, Kim Zolciak told Georgia authorities that Kroy Biermann has been physically abusive towards her, and he’s unemployed, which, she believes, grants her more entitlement to their master bedroom.

Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann found themselves in an unexpectedly dramatic altercation that escalated to the point where law enforcement was summoned to their residence. Sources say the spat was relatively minor but required intervention to help ‘mediate’ and defuse the situation.

Kim, 45, dialed 911 this past August, alleging that her soon-to-be ex-husband, Kroy, 38, barricaded himself in their master bedroom, blocking her access to her personal items. TMZ released the audio of the call on Wednesday, shedding more light on the incident.

“I don’t want anything to do with you. I want to get into my room, sir,” Kim can be heard telling Kroy while on the phone with a dispatcher.

Kim alleged in the call that the ex-football player had previously been “physical,” with her and had “threatened” her, leading her to seek police intervention for her safety, press play below to listen.

In the bodycam footage captured at the couple’s Georgia home, police officers are heard advising Kim to “avoid escalating the situation,” should they manage to persuade Kroy to unlock the bedroom door.

“I just want to sleep in my bed,” responds the Don’t Be Tardy alum, who appears make-up-free with her hair tied up in a bun and wearing a casual black outfit.

An officer suggests to Kim that finding a middle ground might be the best approach, as Kroy’s muffled and indistinct shouts resonate from the other side of the closed door.

The officer then addresses the ex-Atlanta Falcons star, saying, “Sir, if you continue down this road, it’s not going to go well,” later adding, “You are now making me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe.”

Kroy replies, “I didn’t do anything to you,” and claims that his “safety [is] in jeopardy,” indicating concerns that Kim might escalate the situation after their departure.

Past accusations by the ex-NFL star claim that the once Bravo darling had displayed abusive behavior. In the video, officers are seen retrieving Kim’s items such as a blanket, phone charger, medications, and neck cream from Kroy’s possession.

The former couple have been entrenched in a heated divorce saga since May 2023. Both made a dash to the courts to dissolve their marriage, but eventually had a change of heart and decided against going through with the divorce.

Yet, by the end of August, Kroy took legal action again. He submitted another filing, asserting that their marriage was “irreparably damaged.” On top of that, he sought complete legal and physical custody of their four younger children: Kroy Jr. “KJ,” 12, Kash, 11, and the 9-year-old twins, Kaia and Kane.

In a previously released police bodycam video from July, a distraught Kim can be seen in tears, claiming Kroy had once more barred her access to a room in their home, which is facing foreclosure.

“I deserve to be in this bathroom, [but] he was like, ‘Get out, get out, I want to take a shower,’ but he locked me out, and I can’t get back in,” she told cops at the time, adding, “Something’s wrong with his mind. Something’s not right.”

During that incident, Kroy informed the police: “I’ve asked her to kindly leave our bedroom so I could shower in privacy because I don’t trust her. She’s refusing to leave. She’s a narcissist, so she’s playing her games.”

The pair’s lavish Georgia residence is set to face foreclosure on November 7, which is driving Kroy’s push to list the property. Before resorting to legal proceedings, Kroy tried to get the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum to jointly agree to sell their $3 million estate. By selling their family home, they could potentially settle a portion of their debt, provided they find a buyer before the foreclosure cut-off date.
