Jenelle Evans Defends NEW David Eason Abuse Allegations Following Jace’s Third Disappearance

Jenelle Evans is firing back amid claims that her husband, David Eason’s alleged abuse was behind her son, Jace Evans’ third disappearance in less than two months.

The Teen Mom 2 alum hit back after her mother, Barbara Evans, told police that Jace was running away because of his stepfather’s actions.

“This isn’t about David whether you want to blame him or not,” Jenelle tweeted on Monday.

“My mom says a lot of untrue things lately to everyone about me but wanted me to have custody? Imagine what you don’t hear from my side,” the former MTV star continued.

The 31-year-old went on to say that Barbara had not “tried speaking [to] or visiting” her three children, Kaiser, 9, whom Jenelle shares with ex, Nathan Griffith, and Ensley, the 6-year-old daughter she shares with David, since July.

She tweeted — “Honestly idk why my own mother is acting the way she is. I feel now she’s using police to falsely report just trying to make us look bad as a family. There are multiple people involved in this situation and they know the truth, and so does God.”

Jace, whom Jenelle shares with ex, Andrew Lewis, was reported missing for the third time on September 28. Jenelle told the police that the teen exited through a window without his cell phone, per a TMZ report.

Barbara, 70, who had custody of Jace before Jenelle won her son back in March, told authorities that Jace had been assaulted by David and was “hiding” from his stepfather.

Ashley’s Reality Roundup obtained an incident report that stated—“Made contact with Barbara who advised [Jace] was not at the residence. She advised that she had spoken to [Jace] earlier in the evening when he called from an unknown number and told her about being assaulted by David Eason and that he ran away and was hiding.”

Jace ran away from the family home on two other occasions since mid August. Jenelle denied that the incidents had anything to do with her husband.

On August 15, Jace was reported missing by the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Department after leaving school that afternoon. The troubled teenager was eventually located “in the trees behind the school building” per his Snapchat location. On August 28, Jenelle called the police after she hadn’t heard from Jace for several hours. He was later located at a gas station about 10 minutes from their house.

Jenelle’s manager insisted at the time that Jace’s behavior had “absolutely nothing to do with” his stepdad.

Jenelle implied that the second incident occurred after inappropriate content was discovered on her son’s phone.

“I will say one thing: Monitor your kids’ phones,” she told her TikTok followers. “Because, you know, I monitor my kid’s phone, and sometimes they get in trouble. Sometimes they get it taken away for consequences to their actions, right?”

Jenelle and David, 35, have shared a rocky relationship over the years. In 2018, Jenelle called the cops on her husband, alleging that he had cracked her collarbone. A year later, Jenelle was booted from “Teen Mom 2” after David shot and killed their dog for biting their young daughter. Jenelle and David split after the incident, but reconciled several months later.
