Kim Zolciak Ordered to Sell Georgia Mansion After their WATER Was SHUT OFF, Plus Kim Received $250K from a “Friend”
A judge has rejected Kim Zolciak’s plea to dismiss estranged husband Kroy Biermann’s divorce petition, despite the Real Housewives of Atlanta star’s argument that they were still intimate, the judge was unconvinced.
In addition to ruling against Kim Zolciak, the judge approved Kroy Biermann’s bid to sell their $3 million Georgia home, and he immediately placed the house on the market — listing the property for $3,200,000.
Additionally, the judge further established guidelines for the ex-couple’s future living conditions.
“Judge ruled that Kroy can sell the home. Due to lack of funds, Kim was not asked to move out but Kim was ordered to sleep in the basement (maid’s quarters).” On September 29, The Good the Bad and the Fake announced to their Instagram audience. “Kroy gets the master bedroom [and] both have access to [the] kitchen.”
Though Kim Zolciak made a case to the judge about her requirement for a superior mattress because of her recent neck surgery, Kroy was swift to highlight that she, “just spent two weeks in Colombia,” where she filmed MTV’s The Surreal Life, on a cheap mattress and “did just fine.”
Furthermore, Kroy’s plea to the court for the appointment of a Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) for the couple’s four children — Kroy “KJ” Jr., 12, Kash, 11, and twins Kaia and Kane, 9 — was rejected due to financial constraints. The GAL’s fee stands at $50,000 monthly — a sum the petitioner is responsible for covering and Kroy can’t afford.
A Guardian Ad Litem in a family law case serves the child. He or she is appointed by the court to represent the best interest of a child. In a divorce or child custody case, any party or the judge can request that a guardian ad litem be appointed. An attorney can serve as guardian ad litem, but it’s not required that they be an attorney.
According to the firsthand account, Kroy’s monthly earnings stand at $4500 from his football pension, while Kim is estimated to make around $5000 a month from clickbait on her Facebook.
The situation at the Biermann residence is dire, it was revealed that their water was shut-off, but then restored under a compassion plea.
Amid their mounting financial issues, Kim is in debt for $250,000 to an acquaintance named “Kathy.” She’s been directed to share a Range Rover with her eldest daughter, Brielle Biermann, 26. Meanwhile, Kroy will be using the family’s Cadillac Escalade.
The judge advised Kim and Kroy to consider their children’s well-being, emphasizing that the kids are observing every move they make.
As reported, Kim and Kroy have engaged in heated verbal altercations in front of their children. Kroy mentioned in legal documents that Kim often disregards the presence of their children during her cuss-filled outbursts towards him.
The judge stressed to the mother of six to, “act like a lady.”
The pair’s lavish Georgia residence is set to face foreclosure on November 7, which is driving Kroy’s push to list the property. Before resorting to legal proceedings, Kroy tried to get the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum to jointly agree to sell their $3 million estate. By selling their family home, they could potentially settle a large portion of their debt, provided they find a buyer before the foreclosure cut-off.
