Shannon Beador Spotted Hiding Bruises and Scratches From Crazy DUI Crash!
Days after her DUI arrest, Shannon Beador was spotted with what seemed to be a bruise on her face.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star, Shannon Beador was seen departing an apartment in Newport Beach, Calif., alongside her ex-boyfriend, John Janssen, on Wednesday afternoon.
Sporting sunglasses, Shannon concealed her face by tilting her head downward and letting her hair fall in front. She lingered behind John and another unidentified man, who held a box.
In the photos, a noticeable mark could be seen above her left eye.
Dressed in a black top layered under a blue button-down shirt, the 59-year-old Bravolebrity’s physique was largely obscured by the two men accompanying her.
Earlier in the day, as Shannon and John were spotted entering the house, her left arm appeared to be in a sling, protruding from her black jacket.
The insurance broker and John were observed holding the front door open for the mother of three. It’s believed that she suffered injuries from the crash that led to her DUI and hit-and-run arrest on Saturday night.
“She was injured, so she’s gonna be recovering,” on his SiriusXM radio show on Monday, her close friend Jeff Lewis mentioned her situation but didn’t provide further details.
She mounted the curb and crashed into a residence, then backed her vehicle off the pavement and cautiously drove off.
While Beador barely avoided hitting the building’s front door, she wrecked a garden area, toppled a planter, and left the adjacent sidewalk in a mess.
Photos from Page Six seemingly display fragments of her car scattered around, along with a significant tire mark on the road.
According to TMZ, Beador eventually stopped her car in the center of the street and allegedly attempted to give the impression she was merely out walking her dog, Archie, when the police showed up.
She was arrested and charged with two misdemeanor offenses. On Sunday morning, she was released after posting a $2,500 bail.
It remains uncertain what transpired leading up to the crash, but sources claim the Real for Real creator seemed “slightly inebriated” at a nearby bar with a companion just hours earlier.
Shannon’s lawyer, Mike Fell, conveyed to Page Six that his client is, “extremely apologetic and remorseful.”
Jeff Lewis, at 53, reiterated those feelings, stating that his friend, who is both “ashamed” and “embarrassed,” plans to “start counseling this week.”
Nevertheless, he emphasized that he doesn’t perceive Shannon as an alcoholic, despite recent events where she was allegedly “ejected” from another bar for being excessively intoxicated and “yelling” at John’s daughter.
